Only if this game was done in renpy, there would be some reason to play it, but this crashing UI / Engine is pure 
+ no autosave.

I don't have a problem with one-time activation systems, but we each have our own opinions on such things and that's fine. The one that really does annoy me the most is the MS garbage "Games for Windows Marketplace"! It was awful right from the start and was obviously Microsoft's attempt at grabbing a share of the market that was, and still is, dominated by Valve's Steam. No surprise then that nobody liked it which resulted in it's complete and utter failure! Now the GfW servers are dead and nobody can access any of the content they may have purchased over the years. But let's not derail this thread with such discussions.I think this kind approach is resembling at first any previous and current PC game that needed and still does that "FUCKEDUP ACTIVATE ME ONLINE IN ORDER TO PLAY EVEN OFFLINE CONTENT
As for the pay wall that the devs have added to Ways of Life, not a good thing imho. People have the option to support the game via Patreon and people would do that if the game was good. Reading all the comments here it seems this had some potential but has problems that aren't being addressed (the misspelling of Strength being an obvious one). Adding a pay wall that hides all the "good" stuff just results in annoyed people that ignore the game and move on to one of the numerous games that don't have such stupid restrictions. As I said, I was looking at checking the game out, see what it's like etc but now I simply won't even bother wasting my time to download it. That's the direct result of the added pay wall. *shrug*
There's gotta be a way to crack this through those save data or preference files. Just gotta figure out what the flag call for those blocked events is, then set it as true prior to the call.

Cracking json web tokens its not a hard job ... but would take you some time ... however this game is rubbish so doesnt worth the time lost to crack it ... To be fair from what i remember this game was so bad i wouldnt play not even if was for free .

Cracking this is a serious pain lots and i mean lots of files to go through. And if its anything like the ingame cheat system several differant code files will have multiple lines all over the place in regards to the system. Took me a week to crack the damn cheats, then the douchebag overhauled it and added the damn paywall. In all honesty looking at the cg this is not worth cracking, maybe in about 5 years based on the current pace of development it will be worth cracking. But for now i dont think anyone will be insane enough to crack this, plus im guessing dev visits here seems odd i posted a crack for cheats and next update the cheat system was changed and this paywall crap installed.

not only can u not edit save files as when u do and mess up the events ingame crash the entire save file afterwards no you actually have to be a patreon and the game checks to even watch the damn gallery.
Thats basically saying if you dont pay me you got no right to enjoy my game. While that is totally fine and understandable it also has a huge downside. There are tons and i mean tons of free porn games out there who if a player gets hooked attract new customers for patreon.
This will never be the case here as we can not even verify if content presented is any good or not as you would have to pay to use someone elses save and not fuck up an event in the process.
My advice. Avoid this.

I will only become a patrion if and or when the dev add's in the teachers love and corruption paths . Until then I will wait until then before becoming a patrion for this dev again .

Probably best to just write this one off and move on to any of the other games that don't have a pay wall hiding all the good stuff.
I don't mean to quote a post from over a year ago but the author has clearly moved the save file location.

The Paywall is annoying asf and I cba with the grind.

So am I wrong or is most of the content behind a pay wall? If I am wrong then maybe i'm missing something. However if im not wrong then this game truly is a lost cause as it wasn't even good enough to be a patron in the first place.
