Hello everyone, dear supporters and followers of Welcome to Hell!
Let’s sit down and talk openly about what’s going on with the project — and, most importantly, the delays that seem to never end.
⚙ A Little Context
First of all, I want to apologize once again for the delays in status updates and, especially, for not sharing the download links for the new chapter yet. The game is still showing some persistent errors, and unfortunately, I haven’t had enough time to fully dedicate myself to fixing them all.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve tried several different approaches. One idea was to integrate the newly remade Chapters 1 and 2 directly into the original script to fix the bugs faster. But along the way, so many things went wrong — like the new code system clashing with the old one, plus the Ren’Py update that required even more technical tweaks.
And it doesn’t stop there. Many of you already know from my previous posts that I’m also dealing with serious personal issues that have been overwhelming me. I know none of this is your fault — so I sincerely ask for your understanding and just a little more patience. Please believe me when I say: our game will never be abandoned. But sometimes, honestly, it’s really hard to juggle everything at once.
Hyperfocus & Limited Time
I have hyperfocus, which means I can only concentrate on one thing at a time. Over the last two months, most of my focus had to shift toward dealing with these personal issues — and that naturally slows down the project’s progress. But I want you to know that every single day, even if it’s just for a short while, I’m working on our game, trying to fix these errors and keep things moving forward.
Chapter 1: The Ongoing Saga
Many of you already know about the issue with the original Chapter 1, which was part of the game’s first version. Unfortunately, the hard drive that stored my updated backup — the one with all the adapted code to merge files smoothly — got corrupted. The drive just won’t respond anymore.
So I’ve had to dig through old versions to recover exactly what I need — but when I do find them, I run into low-resolution images and even outdated or altered files that don’t work for the current build. That’s why I had the idea to just integrate the remake directly into the original build — but that’s been a lot of extra work, because I still have to:

• Recreate Chapter 03
• Modify Chapter 04’s code to make everything run perfectly

All of this takes time — and, as you know, Welcome to Hell still doesn’t generate enough income to let me focus on it full-time. I need to do other work to cover my expenses, especially now with the massive costs of a divorce — which has become even more complicated since my ex-wife decided to move 2,500 km away from me. It hasn’t been easy, as you can imagine.
✅ What’s Left Before Release
To help everyone understand exactly where things stand, here’s what still needs to be done before I can upload the links and deliver the new chapter:
1️⃣ Finish integrating the Chapter 1 remake into the original game build (Chapter 2 won’t be integrated just yet).
2️⃣ Translate everything from Brazilian Portuguese to English (a good portion is already done).
3️⃣ Add the spicy scenes to the gallery.
4️⃣ Run a beta test so my testers can catch any final bugs.
As you can see, there’s really not much left — but what’s holding things up right now is mainly the lack of time because of everything I’ve mentioned above.
️ So When Is the New Chapter Coming?
You all deserve full transparency: It’s not fair to keep collecting donations if the game isn’t ready. That’s why I want to make it clear — if the new chapter isn’t finished in the next few weeks, I will pause donation charges until it’s fully delivered. My commitment to you is real, it’s genuine — and I just want you to understand my situation. I’m dealing with a lot right now, but I’m always here, ready to talk and answer any questions you might have.

Should have just made 2 versions of the game, 1st version as the Original without any changes or edits and a 2nd version but just of the Rework with all these changes you are adding because at this point now you added liek 4x the amount of work and yet still have no solid release in view.

And with integration of 2 completely different versions well at that point you are better off just Scraping everything and starting fresh then because the more you try to tweak and change and edit the more that will break things when they are combined together and in turn the length of work just keeps getting larger and larger while content will get smaller and smaller.

No, he's going through a crisis with family, divorce. It took me 2 years to rebound from that for me, and I had to get a lot of help. I expect longer, it's sad but life happens. I won't be at the edge my seat waiting for this one. Instead, everyone should give him best wishes to recover, obviously it's a struggle at this point.

Now all the content is all there to be able to play up through the new content and it's end and while everyone is deep into having to start all over for yet another time that is a great time to be trying to fix whatever is causing the issues that have screwed up the new shit being put out first, ya know like all the gone back and remake shit before you have a finished product to do a remake. All these devs should maybe want to take a look at any of the remade versions of things being done, One major fact that seems to not understood is they all are already finished with the entire body of work and all the content was given to the ones watching/playing it. I mean just think on if one of your movies was released and half way through they stopped suddenly and all you saw was a message sorry bout this but before you seee more we are going to go back and redo the start and do every detail needed to fix and fix it and even add shit to it not needed and once we do all that we will be back to release the ending finally......... oh yes and while we do all this please keep sending your money to give us while you get nothing. I'll keep ya posted though so yeahhhhhh great ideas from so many

So this game's going to the neverending cycle of excuses too?
Don't get me wrong,life of a dev is hard and i respect THIS dev for telling us the "why and why not" etc. ...
But more and more devs are playing this game ,telling us why something didn't work like they expected...
Some devs hdd's broke (thats the most reasonable excuse i'll believe) ,some have a health-issue (i do have it too,cuz i'm a borderliner and lost not only my dad last year but also my brother this year) or everything together ...
If they have a coding problem,ask for help,if your Pc can't render how you would like it,ask for help...
I'm sad cuz this game seemed really good and could get alot of patrons...

The big problem is Dev had a great game and great story and was making Great progress but Then decided they needed to upend everything and Rework it all to which in turn they shot themself in the foot to now have to play catch up to get back to where they were but in turn they gutted out so much for better renders yet the story now just feels lackluster.

I get the dev wanting to improve things but Come on already.... You used to have consistant updates and now if lucky 1 a year and its not even forward progress in that but Just rehash/rework/rewrite.

At this rate Dev will most liekly give another reason why for delays and then will try to rush rush to appeal to the crowd...

Maybe Sept or Oct maybe even Nov at this speed tho.

Like i get devs wanting to be liek Dr.Pink Cake and Braindrop and other biggies on quality of content But even they have the smarts to understand Full total Reworks/Rewrites will not improve their game but just increase their development time.

Is this sarcasm? How does 59 paid members translate to 2500$ a month? more like 250 if he is lucky.
Being an AVN dev is the shittiest possible job unless you are one of the big guys that can pull 1000+ paid members but those guys have either grown there over the years or been very lucky, not every dev makes it to this level.
