A Sincere Apology — And Now, I’m Fully Back
Hello, my dear supporters…
First of all, a thousand apologies for the long silence.
The truth is, life came crashing down on me in many ways over the past few months — but I can now finally say that everything that was weighing on me personally has been resolved.
As of today, nothing is holding me back anymore.
Yes, I was working on Welcome to Hell this whole time — but at a much slower pace than before.
That’s going to change starting now.
A Bolder Vision: Going Beyond What Was Planned
I decided to extend the development time because I chose to be more ambitious.
Instead of just integrating the Chapter 01 Remake, I also decided to rework Chapter 02 — which turned out to be a huge task.
To support all of this, I’ve been rewriting and restructuring the game’s entire code base, which takes a lot of time but is absolutely worth it.
And that’s not all — several other features are being improved:

• The replay gallery is being completely redesigned
• Chapter navigation is being refined
• The internal structure of the game is being optimized and made more efficient

Changes in Chapter Order
Another important note: the chapter order is changing slightly.
There used to be a special chapter called 5.5, which is now being officially renamed to Chapter 06.
This won’t affect the story, just its numbering.
Because of that, the chapter currently in development — previously referred to as Chapter 08 — will likely become Chapter 09, and the season is now expected to end at Chapter 10.
Nothing is set in stone yet regarding the final chapter structure, but right now my priority is to build something truly new, something that surprises you — and something that helps Welcome to Hell reach a much larger audience thanks to its renewed quality and identity.
️ Yes, These Are Big Changes — But They’re Necessary
Some people have criticized me for changing too much mid-project...
But the truth is: you can’t finish something properly if it didn’t start out right.
And I refuse to deliver something that doesn’t meet the standard we all deserve.
I’m working hard to improve everything — and these improvements will be visible.
The game will be more polished, more organized, and more optimized than ever before.
I’m also compressing a large number of files to reduce the game’s size without sacrificing quality.
The structure of W2H is evolving — and I promise you, it’s going to be worth it.
Daily Updates, Behind-the-Scenes Content, and Full Transparency
Starting now, you’ll see a lot more from me here on Patreon.
I want you to truly know that I’m working every single day on the game. There are no more delays, no more silence.
Every day there will be something new.
Or at the very least, there will be a post every two days — a screenshot, a dev note, a render, or an update.

Some people have criticized me for changing too much mid-project...
But the truth is: you can’t finish something properly if it didn’t start out right.

No you can absolutely finish whatever you want to and then after the product is at it's conclusion should be the time to rework the already long past things that were so important that changed. All that side crap you are saying you are going to start doing is not needed just the update that was supposedly already bout done and would have been out July 4th weekend or what I took from the post that stated so. All the talk is not needed and takes away from working on the game. Devs should stop trying to do what the few who actually can do cause they are already established with lots of support and its cause they give content in either bulk full whole chapters or really quality work and if this would just focus on new content for people this has very good potential to be high on the list of great games but being at the end of the content for this long is not helping

Weekly Development Update
Hello, my dear supporters!
It’s time for another weekly update on the development progress of Welcome to Hell.
As I mentioned previously, I’m currently adapting Chapter 02 to the game’s original script, which has led to the need for many fixes in the code of the following chapters.
There are now several parts of the code that no longer make sense, since we’ve restructured the entire beginning of the story.

I’ll admit — it’s a bit frustrating that the Chapter 03 Remake is not yet ready to be added to the main script. It would’ve been perfect, especially since Chapter 02 ends with a powerful moment — the beginning of the fight between Ramon and the MC.
I’d love to see that fight already completed in-game, but unfortunately, that’s not possible just yet.

So for now, our main goal is to adapt and clean up the code, making everything smoother and better aligned with the new structure — especially as we move toward the upcoming release of what will now be Chapter 08.
Reordering the Chapters
Alongside these code fixes, I’m also working on reorganizing the chapter sequence.
As I’ve mentioned before, the special chapter previously known as 5.5 is being renamed to Chapter 06.
Once I finalize a structured and logical order for all the chapters, I’ll share it here with you — but I can already say that these changes will improve the overall flow of the story.
️ New Dynamic Scene: Samantha & Lily on the Motorcycle

Besides technical work, I’ve also been improving some of the existing scenes.
One small but exciting update: I reworked the scene where Samantha and Lily are riding a motorcycle.

Originally, it was just a static image — but now I’ve rendered new versions with moving backgrounds, which will create the feeling that the motorcycle is truly in motion as they talk.
It’s a visual trick using static images that gives the illusion of speed and movement — a great alternative to full animation, which would take a lot more time and resources.
This enhancement will make the scene feel much more alive and immersive.
Final Thoughts
That’s it for today — just a quick update to let you know what I’m currently working on.

Wouldnt you like actual Forward Progress instead of the pussyfooting around being shown renders of scenes that might not even be in the final release?


See part of the Major problem is to many people let devs do what they like and when the release time comes and then the consumers then see how much was teased vs what was actually released and then they just take it in stride saying "It Will Get Better" meanwhile its been a constant downhill roll since the Reworking and with no actual progressing of said story but in turn just keep saying things are changing but in exchange just removing more then they add...


Sad but just look at the history going on here...

Used to be consistant with updates and now lucky for 1 New chapter a year.... if that now....

100% agree with all this and truly do not get why anybody stops giving completed chaspters to go back a 3rd time and make changes someone probaly made a post on and this dev is so picky wants to please a few instead of pleasing the total ones who are here already and are wanting chapter 7 which tells you prior to any stopping for dumb remake could have waited til after all the story was given. Stopping content for nothing but excuses on why you went to do more unwanted shit is not very smart, which is also costing you money instead of new content making more money and new support and after all that a remake is ridiulous timing since there was plenty support before and that means that nobody gave a shit bout the better 1 and 2 before the changes and especially the added crap not making any difference from the original but makes time wasted on shit like the bike shit that was not to do with anything just wasted time. What was already given was working fine and now over a year and a fresh post of more nothing but words that have remaking again..... chapter 7 is just not done is all you goitta say and just that cause no dev sits on completed work to go back while giving nothing and only a moron would not release the new chapter in it's own release while doing other shit people who were subs or still for some reason are and ok with the dev working on shit they really are not wanting to pay for and are there for new content moving on with the story not new changes to past already known shit!

Once you have them slow down the pace and enjoy the monthly paychecks.
2nd- Rework what you already have.

I ended up traveling, and… well, I made one of those classic mistakes:
I thought I had transferred Yoruna’s images to my laptop and scheduled the post — but turns out... I didn’t do any of that.
And if that wasn’t enough, one of the renders had to be redone because… believe it or not…
