Nah, dw about it, you seem like a super nice dude. I think the title isn't so much the issue- and it's mostly the intro exposition section where it's a little hard to tell whether the game is being ironic/parodical or completely serious. Maybe I'm misinterpreting what you're saying, but it seems like most of the 4chan set dressing is completely for laughs, so I'd maybe add a disclaimer or try to make it clear that it's not trying to make a political statement. Whatever you do, good luck with the game development! I can see you clearly care about making a good end product.
Exactly.
The tone of the intro exposition is presented as neutral and factual explanation to be taken at face-value. Combine that with the content being an irl conspiracy-theory that irl political parties have cultivated and pandered to. leads to...
ick
I think the combination of content + author-is-narrating tone is the real mood-killer. Even though, contextually, we can determine it is obviously not based on reality and it depicts the world implementing an incredibly stupid non-solution and demonstrates it not working.
Reducing the
ick-factor:
-Change the delivery/presentation
have it delivered by a clearly biased source (newscaster? government speech?). Bonus points if the MC is unsure how true the information is.
-Lean harder into satire (depends on how confident you feel with your writing)
poe's law being a thing, you might benefit from beating the audience over the head with the point. You can introduce us to the MC's personality at the same time and use that to contextually explain how the audience is supposed to interpret the info.
For example maybe the MC isn't the sharpest hammer in the bag, you can use that for situational humor while letting the audience be in on the joke (and lessens the boredom of being lectured on "this is a porn game, any resemblance to situations living or dead is purely coitusdental").
Things like: "I 100% believe every word of this, it makes perfect sense." (in response to near-incomprehensible contradictory nonsense), "why would they lie?" (in response to people having their assets siezed and being shipped off to sissy school with flimsy/no explanation. Being clear to the audience that it's just a ploy for them to steal your stuff.), "It must be true, they've never had anyone on complaining about it." (obviously the complaints would never get aired on a government channel if they have high/total media control. Your setting is dystopian anyway, why not?)
Same for any other traits you want to showcase. Are they only following along because they're convinced they're an alpha (and would oppose it if they thought otherwise)? Are they a pushover, oblivious/innocent, scared to make themselves a target?
Or maybe just drop that specific bit altogether.
You can have interracial, you don't need to justify anyone's in-universe ethnicity lol. It doesn't need a weird migration angle.
You've got other avenues you could explore for the justification of alphabeta school. Most obvious would be something like maybe one of those
insecure sunglasses-wearing dudebro "alpha-males" gets into power and decides to restructure society around pseudoscience. (title still makes sense because it is their view on how society has "gone soft" or whatever-they-
pretend-to-believe and needs to be "corrected")
Hell, you don't even need any explanation. Just gloss over it or avoid it entirely.
"the west has fallen, bazillions must wear panties" is unironically as much of an explanation as you need for the "why" of things. Obviously followed by the "what" of things (you're being shipped off to sissy school with the alphas 'til they figure out what to do with you all). You can leave the actual in-universe explanation vague or absent and let the audience speculate.
If you give the impression you care about logical consistency, then that signals to the audience that they should also start caring about it (and then they'll ask dangerous questions like "why are they being kept after day 1? The teacher assigned different work to alphas, meaning they've already been assigned categories so why-"). If you can avoid it, you can handwave everything away with "because porn" which is better for everyone involved lmao.
