It was the sum of the set-up (she knew it was going to happen), the action itself and the conversation after that made the scene well done IMO. Agree, these “categories” are broad, and subject to preferences, opinion, etc. And for the most part, yes, all good.

Where the “scene” fell short for me, imo, in terms of “cuckquean”, is that Laura is with Nathan when it’s happening. It’s certainly in the swinging, sharing ballpark, which cuckquean, cuckold, etc can and do fall under. However, to me, the scene comes off as Laura throwing the BF a “bone” because there’s a part of her that feels, just a little guilty, and is trying to “balance” the scales, rather than her actually “enjoying” it. Not that her enjoying is essential to the cuckquean thing…lol

I like Netorase Phone and really like the fact it finally introduced the element of sharing action for the BF.
It is one of the few stories with any type of cuckquean like element to it, and subsequent updates are developing that “path” for Laura a bit more. Certainly will be interesting to see how it goes.

Personally, I’m looking for a “scene” where Laura gets an “out of the blue” text (like BF gets from Laura, Nathan, etc) from Ashley, BF, or Tara in that group chat, showing the BF with Ashley or Tara, that Laura didn’t “set up”… Or if she did, she’s at work, or something, just not with another dude when it’s happening…
Can you imagine, Ashley sends pic to Laura, guess who visited while you were at work…
So many possibilities…

I think in "Ntrs phone" that situation is also colored by the fact nothing seems to ever come up organically between mc and the female friends, yet happens all the time between Laura and her paramours. (another way of saying what you're saying).

It'd be nice to see either a scene with mc and ashley/tara that laura didnt set up, OR laura was integral to setup but that held true the same for laura's scenes with other guys - hopefully this makes sense. Right now it's kinda this double standard of Laura meeting up with nate/other guy whenever she wants, but all of mc's liasons feel very constrained.

This is my main complaint overall with ntrs phone; even on the 'dom' path, there's a pervasive feeling of Laura really running everything and MC just along for the ride.

Other than LSS? If I read your reply in the other thread correctly you wanna avoid realporn games, otherwise I'd say Love and Vice.

Adventures of Willy D certainly has both swapping elements and girlfriend-stealing elements along with harem, though it's very long and sandboxy so some people don't like that.

A thing to add on redoubt's post here-

The teasing, anticipation and buildup is definitely key in many of these games, once you cross that boundary it becomes old hat, it's nice but like he said you can never get that back. This holds true for non-sharing themes as well, the best moment is often that first time there's a sexual event, or first time some LI crosses significant boundaries.

I've thought about this with my own game design; and how to best provide this feeling again and again. Obviously you don't want the teasing phase to go too long as it'll feel like milking or blue-ball simulator, but I wonder if there's another mechanic to give players that feeling again and again.

My own thoughts:

The simplest way is to have multiple LIs you can build up, so the player gets this whole "crossing into the verboten" experience and again, fresh anew for each different LI's first time.

Another way would be to have some kind of resource or reset - say "willingness to experiment". When an LI has one of these big boundary-crossing events, that score resets to a low value. It can then be increased again gradually over time with more 'safe' day-to-day activities like dates or spending time together.

If anyone has any other mechanical ideas on this topic I'd love to hear them; rare is the game breaking the mold of (1) Meet LI/get familiar, (2) Gradual sexual escalation, (3) Repeat 2 and increase corruption/lewdness. With this formula, it's only a matter of time before a typical male player gets bored.

This is just an idea in its raw state!
How much does she remember or how far back in the past does she remember is up to the dev, how did she lose her memory? Car accident? Fall? Or maybe the mc will found a device like the one in the movie Mans in Black and use it in her not knowing what this device does of course.
In any case this would make a fresh start, if written and rendered correctly, every scene would be like the first time for her of course.
There are other ways like going back in time, like Butterfly Effect.. let me know what you and the others think, i think someday i will make my own game i just hope this day will be soon i have alot of creativity but lack in technical staff .

Ive played a game that is somewhat similar not a NTR or sharing game tho it does have some NTR scenes. But your idea reminds me alot of My girlfriends Amnesia a Daniel K game I believe.

Yes, I played this one, but from what I remember she no longer has any memory at the beginning of the story, so it's completely different from restarting, having her lose her memory in the middle of the story, with all the kink already done, this gives a completely different perspective.

Could do it like the movie "50 First Dates". Where every day/week, she forgets everything, and you have to go through it all again. Maybe you messed up last time, so you change up how you do things. Could be interesting. (or really annoying).

Well if you use this more than once the 'new' feeling will disappear, same thing with going back in time, it would only have to be done once, after all the kink staff has already happened, right in the middle of the game.
If well executed it would be perfect, obviously FMC need to be hot as hell.

Was more harem building than sharing focus, but it does have some sharing/NTR options.
It was weird to me to build a harem but have the option to let other dudes get one of "my girls" pregnant...

Yah I certainly hope you're right and there's more variety - I'm basing it on the style it's done in; it seems very similar to ORS/GGGB and both those had heavy cheating themes. Maybe that's unfair, and yes in the future it could have some sharing -type stuff, but right now all the options (at least for the wife) are heavily centered around "go flirt wiith this random guy behind husbands back".

Heh yeah i missed brochacho - i have played pinkbox a lot, and I'm sure once that gets further along itll be one of the premiere games on this list.

Just a heads up - I replayed it again with recent version to refresh my memory, and yeah it seems like there's no sharing whatsoever, past that - the core mechanics of game are anathematic to sharing; stuff like the bf getting -confidence when she choses to strip down at beach. In fact, upon a second playthrough it felt even more like a female-cheating game than I thought at first. I don't doubt the male mc will have options too - but then that doesn't really belong on a swinging/sharing list.

That's not to say I don't appreciate the suggestion- definitely keep em coming!
