Btw when I use the term "hobo" it's weird to me.
I'm a Brit and assumed the term referred to those guys who ride trains illegally, from back in the day.

thats exactly what it sounds like to me, a yank, as well.

I think the meaning has just changed because so many people use it interchangeably for "homeless", and hobo sounds nicer and more 'folksy' than 'homeless".
