Henley, your idea of people here is insanely wrong...
I know that a lot of people here are just lurking for cracks and stuff, but there's also a part of the community that is passionate and just have their reasons to do so.
Those reasons can lead to becoming a buyer later.
You can dislike it as you want, that's normal, I understand, but show some respect because you don't know who you're talking to.
Also, please, don't do things like telling people to try create a game to people you don't know... I do actually.
I'll not talk about it anymore tho, I'm disappointed but I get it...
- iirc, I exited the game, had the prompt, clicked yes, but I think I had the log page open, or something like that, then it glitched out the save menu, you should multiply test of different way to exit the game and see if some glitch out the save menu when selecting yes.
- I mean, it skip the dev page fully by doing so on the language page.

You're right, I don't know who I am talking to. But neither do you. So you also shouldn't generalize but you do. And if you are a game dev, you should know what it takes to make something commercially successful to the point you can support humans on. So why are you out here advocating piracy like it's some sort of savor to the industry? I will tell anyone who wants to learn about game dev exactly what we do, what we've done right/wrong so people can learn from us, I do it all the time. I am as transparent as a piece of glass. Heck, I'll even help developers with the RIGHT way to sell on steam and sites so they can make a living doing what they love. I am not gate-keeping shit.
Make the game, don't pretend you know what's best. The term armchair general comes to mind here.
I'll treat everyone on this site the same, until they prove otherwise that they do want to support the development of our products instead of getting free smut to jolkn' too. Respect is earned, not gifted for free.

Get over yourself. Your game is unfinished after 5 years and it has even less content now with this "remake".
You don't deserve a single penny from anyone here. Imagine being entitled to other people's money, when this is what you offer them.
There are hundreds of other games here that actually deserve support and a lot of people here DO support them. Get the fuck out of here with this bullshit.

Many people here would never buy your game or support it. Just like many here would've never heard of your game if not for this website, but I can guarantee you that many would buy it or support you if they thought the game was good enough.

People are supporting the dev
Many users here are not doing piracy a favor either, the amount of toxic and entitled behavior will not earn the support for piracy, and instead will create more enemies for pirates.
What others are actually saying: We want these games for free without giving anything in return.
How is that fair to the game devs who are working on games, when games are being pirated and negativity is being spread about devs and their games. Which further hurts them.

These people would never buy the game regardless. I think I mentioned that before. But there are always those who will, if they think the game is good enough, which is why coming to this website as a developer and being a douche to people makes no sense.
It's fair, because the negativity is warranted. You don't see this level of negativity in games that deliver. You see this in games that are being milked on, or that are completely bare bones after years like this one. Especially when the dev starts bashing people on the forum.
But I think I made my point and I haven't demanded anything. The reason I posted to begin with wasn't even because of the content itself, but because of the dev's reaction to people here, despite delivering a completely bare bones game after 5 years.

Basically: some of us want to buy the game, but we still share for now the experience while pirating it, because we don't want to put money in projects that just... don't post updates... this is a common thing, projects in that domain are really often just a cash grab...
5 years later, we still see that it is not worth it, and we are disappointed because we wanted to see this project being something more than a way to take money from people for a decade long before seeing the whole story.
Good ideas and a good demo is not enough to earn our trust to pay for a demo in hope one day we will play the game.
Maybe Dev think we are like "oh yeah! That game is awesome! Happy to play it for free lmao", but a lot of us are more like "oh, that project is interesting! I hope it will be took seriously as a real game and make it a full game soon."
Often that's not the case, like taking 5 years to.... transfert already made content to a new engine...

That doesn't make us good for pirating, it is not something that ANYONE should be proud of, but damn...

Where are you getting 5 years from? Clearly you have no idea what or when we did things or whatever. Let's be real here. Me not doing everything in my power to purge the game from the piracy sites (because I am in my legal right to do so) is like me saying you folks can enjoy it. However you saying you want to see yourself as virtuous for it, na mate. See it for what it is already. Don't like it? Cool. Don't play it, you're not paying for it anyway. If you don't want to buy my stuff that is fine as well, you're within your right to not buy things, it's your money. You saying "be happy we pirate it because maybe we will buy it but now we won't" is just... the dumbest, knuckle dragger, most brain dead thought I have come across.
At the end of the day you're gonna do whatever you want. Nothing I say or do will change it. Just know I'm not here to take backshots from you son.
Why are you here fighting an already lost fight? Not even big companies with large lawyer's firms and deep pockets can get rid of piracy, what makes you think you rolling in the proverbial mud will? What's worse, you seem to get even more bitter by the day, why do you then subject yourself to this? There are uses and reasons why devs are here despite the content shared and that is feedback. They don't try to fight the hydra, they try to leech off of it because raw input can always be useful wherever it comes from.

2019 -> 2024, yes we know the release of the "alpha" was ~3 years ago tho.

Yeah, pirating is bad, we still can't put money in all projects of ero games, but easy to guess that a project where the developer just spit on us like that will not really be the project we ever want to support tho...

When this dev and others are having their games leaked, pirated and slandered, makes you wonder why people group up and hunt down pirates. I've seen too much toxicity and entitlement from this community. These devs are working on games and people want to leach off of their work, that is not fair to these devs.
Pirates already have enough enemies, making more isn't going to help. Pirates are not invincible after all, there are reports of heavy fines and imprisonment for piracy. Latest one was a few days ago and the guy is facing 8 years in prison.
