I mean he's still clearly a serial rapist and murderer, but he is vastly less abrasive this time. I honestly kind of enjoy the typewriter sheet and how you can just understand most of it enough to get the idea.
This time I didn't get the vibe he was a murderer or if they are implying he was responsible for the disappearance of the women. I thought he was just writing his story in the woods and was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Plus he doesn't seem paranoid about investigators looking for him based on this release.

Maybe the developer is reeling this back and is trying to spring this on us as a shocking reveal.

It's also possible I could be very clueless!

Well ideally you won't know until he is haunted and stuff first. The idea is the confession comes to the player as well.

Did this game get a recent update or something? Unsure of why I’ve seen it trending as it says abandoned and no updates for almost a year - is this the case ? And I just saw the Patreon is locked rn. Any word on what’s going on there?

Also, I just read through some of the last pages comments. I’m not here to stir the pot, hopefully the opposite in fact. I’m someone who has bought steam porn games and also come to this website.
#1 - The biggest reason I’m here is the community of people interested in these games and the engagement
#2 - I have seen more Patreon exposure through this website than Steam. It never even occurred to me how many solo/small devs were utilizing Patreon and making a solid, stable income from it. This place is priceless for exposure for that reason and to see the reputation and history for a game’s development.
#3 - Both on Patreon, on itch, on steam, wherever - there are more abandoned porn games than actually completed games. It is a pretty common trend and I noticed it even before I joined this site. That makes the value of this community even higher, as you can get a sense for projects where there is greater hope, more engagement from supporters or the dev(s), and actual updates on progress. And on the reverse, people who are bitter or jaded have somewhere to go to vent about it or find other games who do things the right way, as opposed to relying on the dev.

Lastly, nobody should spend their money backing liars and thieves, and nobody should have their content stolen or ripped off. Much like reality, this forum is much more grey than black or white. “Take what you like, and leave the rest.”

Games need funding. If you don't like working for free then don't expect other to work for free either.
