its so awkward when im beating my burrito and some funny ass shit happens making me burst into laughter. the reward serena gave the mc had me dead af.
Well, without giving away too much for people who didn´t play it:
i don´t remember exactly what you´re reffering to (EDIT: oh now i remember what you mean, that was hilarious indeed), but i burst into laughter when Lana came in while Serena gave him his reward, the funny thing about it for me was the completely unexpected (and unappropriate) reaction Lana had to it....... like WTF... who would do that in that situation?!
I don´t even know if the outcome of a lot of the hilarious scenes are even intended by the developer or it just fell into place by "accident". But i think the developer knows what he´s doing, there´s simply too many of them.
In a Joke the delivery is more important then the punchline (RIP Norm MacDonald, i miss you), and the delivery of this developer is brilliant!!!
BIG example: the "bush" scene with Kevin would have been funny even if MC would have commented to himself on whats happening, instead he just stayed silent and endured it while ONLY blinking his eyes........... ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Man, i lost it there.
Another funny example: When MC asks Serena for a reward, and Serena didn´t answer anything........ instead she´s looking at him silently with a smile..........an all-and-nothing-saying Mona Lisa smile!!!!......... where you don´t know if she´s judging him or what........ i lost it there too..... that´s such a perfect subtle and funny delivery...... Absolutely Brilliant! That was on "Arrested Development" subtle delivery level.....
This game is packed with little gems like this.... it´s too much to mention them all. This game is indeed one of a kind in its delivery and FLOW.

and doesn´t fall into a trap to the critics who for example want "more meaningful choices/decisions" instead of simply 2 funny outcomes of the same, which in return keeps the player in a very pleasent FLOW, instead of thinking "ah man, i should have maybe made the other choice, i have to reload later" and waters down the experience.
And sorry to say it, but some critics that play this game have really an underdeveloped sense of humor...... For example i saw someone in a Review (that was liked multiple times, thats telling) critisizing that you couldn´t buy anything with the Gold, so why it´s in there......... I facepalmed so hard...... some people don´t get the simplest jokes......right over their head... unbelievable.... i hope they are very, very young, otherwise it´s unexcusable.
So therefore:
DEVELOPER, KEEP YOUR COURSE! STAY ON EXACTLY YOUR VISION LIKE YOU LOVE IT! IT´LL BE BRILLIANT !!!!! It´s like you´re building a new BUGATTI VEYRON and people complaining that they cant put their Surfboard in the trunk. Bugatti wouldn´t make their trunk bigger to please them and make the car ugly.......instead they would build a beautiful product with, beauty in every little detail of it..... SO YOU DO THE SAME !!!!!! KEEP YOUR OWN VISION, you´re on the right track !!!
Sorry for the long text, but what i wrote is not the usual recyled stuff we read almost every day in the last week. I hope this thread stays on more interesting and funny topics of this game.
