Hard agree. Not quite sure I'm seeing the appeal of Gomira yet, but I love a nice "yandere gets worn down/broken down and finally shows a softer side" story. And I trust the Nuts, they've not missed yet - Myrtle, Lana, and Rose have each had wonderful romances with very different personalities. Though I hope we take a break from damsels in distress needing rescuing for a while - Gomira and Holly are tougher than Lassie!
The issue is less Gomira but more sustainability. MagicNuts have taken the path of character specific updates. Obviously some people will find certain characters divisive, such as Gomira. But with each update now taking 1+ years to complete how in hell is this game going to sustain this pace for the decade or so time it needs to finish? Surely interest will dry before then.
That is my big concern. Again I trust the Nuts to tell a great story with quality art. But if the patreon dries up altogether, will they give up bc they have to go back to their day jobs? I want the project to survive
because I want to see the ending. And that means I want wise decisions to be made about project planning. I'm not sure putting that all up to a direct democracy vote for patrons is wisest. And as someone else in this thread pointed out, I'm not sure all the patrons would have voted for longer updates if they knew longer updates meant 19+ months.
I'm kinda disappointed when knew that my lovely Maple not get Dev. love this time (can't wait to choose to get her pregnant). But yes, you right all girl that we already make out with had an fantastic story and plot. So why don't give orc girl some love (and love juice of couse).
Finally, a fellow Best Tiny Girl lover! My hope is that not only will we get back "into" Maple, but that Lassie will gain a power from her to shrink down and be tiny, too. Onwards, mighty Fox steed!
A year and a half into development and they're running polls on new mockups and sketches for Gomiras outfits. It's absurd. Reports like that show they are very, very far from an update.
This just shows you don't understand their development process. Just because a girl's route is complete doesn't mean nothing will ever be added for her again. Myrtle has been complete for a long time but they have added new CG's of her as well as a threesome scene. Just because Gomira will soon be complete doesn't mean there'll never be anything new added for her. And once posing is complete, adding a new outfit isn't super complex. If Chestnut feels the creative juices flowing to make Gomira a leather domme outfit or a playboy bunny suit or some cupless fantasy armor, adding it into the game wouldn't be that hard. So you can cool your jets, you've found "proof" of nothing.

happen, whereas DarkCookie is obviously just scamming at this point. Unfair comparison.
I believe, if this update has taught us anything it's that magicnuts needs to plan how they release their future updates better.
After they've completed their initial planning and made an estimate on the amount of work required they should then make a call on if they should break their story into, 1 or more parts. While it's great getting a completed story arc. Waiting over a year is just bad project management in my opinion.
I would honestly rather they spend the first three entire months of the dev cycle posting nothing but "TBD" until they have a solid plan, before ever showing even a single % completion. Better that than a progress bar that might not represent true progress towards the final goal.

While I would dearly love to see Best Big Girl Anne again, I have a strong feeling instead we're gonna be visiting the Melon Twins' Farm (they had fucking better be twins lol) to investigate the case of fresh produce mysteriously disappearing from their gardens, because a shadowy figure is lurking in the woods (or maybe the HowlCave?) and feeding herself by stealing from the farm... In the process, hopefully we will also have the chance to judge which sister's melons are best.
My reason for this guess is simply that they created the farm location in the last update but we never did anything there. If you ask me, that was a teaser for 0.6.
