Which girls stories are fully done as of current version? Is it Mrytle? (widow) only and Lana is second most? Any others? Holly, pixie girl all very minimal.
Also why does it say abandoned when owner is still having some updates? Is it another abandoned/snail speed project like STS?

you got it right i think the last update was about 8 months ago so it is automatically tagged as abandoned (which should be)

Myrtle's and Rose's stories are done. Lana's is mostly done too, although she'll still be around for the next part of the main story at least. Holly's story will be finished in v0.8, her current content (as well as Maple's, the pixie) dates from when devs used a different approach regarding updates, releasing partial quests of the girls' stories. Now they focus just on one of them per update and try to tell her whole story (which is why updates take longer than before).
The game is abandoned per forum rules (it's been more than 2 years since the latest update) but it's supposed to get an update next month (telling Gomira's story) and devs claim this long wait won't become the new norm since they don't plan having more children. Before this abnormally long cycle, updates used to take from 4 months (Myrtle's) to 10 months (Rose's).

is this dev coding with their knuckles? how many bugs can you have on probably 20 minutes of content? I sincerely hope this update has more than 20 minutes of text and 5 new scenes

Did they ever quantify what (for example) 0.6% of polish actually means?
I can understand a list of bugs that get squashed one after the other but what is "one polish"?

There is a FAQ in the original post where the devs explain what those different "sections" mean, I would recommend you to check it.
Other than that, if you are fine with it you can check moskyx older messages to some detailed info regarding that.
