This is only my interpretation but since almost every progress report had the "total" number of tasks increased for awhile, this new extension just means the the devs finally got able to tell how many more tasks they will be doing until the end of the development.
As you can see those "total" numbers haven't increased for the past 4 reports, not saying that they may not had more until the end.

So what I mean is that 950 total polish tasks to do now would still be 950 tasks on the end of development considering that they just keep adding them along the way, the only difference is that the % progress now represents the "real" amount of work they are doing while the same couldn't be said before.
Yeahhh... I'm not really surprised for being wrong, good luck for the impatient ones.

how can it be 99.9% done but only have 96.1% polish?
Actually... that's because it's 99.9% "content" done, not development done.
That last 0,1% will only be completed when "Total polish" reaches 100% since "Edit" and "Debug" are related to "Code" in "Total content".

Now the thing is that 99.9% may not represent the reality because they can add new tasks to the "Code" as they keep working in the "Polish" anyway so better not bother with it.

Did they ever quantify what (for example) 0.6% of polish actually means?
I can understand a list of bugs that get squashed one after the other but what is "one polish"?
Because a lot you are calling them scammers, they're trying to polish their name and surely that cannot be quantified lol

We went from 99.4% done to 96%. i never knew math worked that way. maybe i should've spent another 15 years in school since apparently i can't even count.
