Two more weeks trust the plan Q MagicNuts predicted this.
They already said the expected release date is the end of november, after it was previously august for 4 months, may for half a year before that. this update has been well pushed to over a year for complete rewrites and a side quest already confirmed to be no longer than the other(which took only a few weeks at first when development started). DarkCookie and Icstor probably rubbing shoulders rn with them

Hey now, let's be fair... no one is rubbing shoulders with ICSTOR. Taking a fuck ton of time to finish an update is one thing, but ICSTOR's ability to not finish games is the stuff of legends. He's literally only finished one game without bullrushing to a half assed finale, and that thing is like ten minutes long. On top of that he's now grifting for DLC for Milfy City. No matter what you might think of What A Legend! you can't really put it in the same category as ICSTOR. Or DarkCookie for that matter who is at least releasing the fixed up content for Something Unlimited one disappointing chunk at a time. Where MagicNuts is going to ultimately fall on the patreon scam artist scale will rely on how things look once the next update arrives.

true. I just have a lack of faith in developers now because of those who just milk it for the money. I get it magicnuts and chestnut had a kid, i get how that could cause distraction elsewhere but for an update that took maybe a few weeks in the past to drag through over TWO YEARS is ridiculous. It just seems that the development cycle for bugs found and fixed, at least the pace, is incredibly convenient, and even in the weekly and monthly updates on patreon(no longer a supporter) there was literally no proof that anything had been done, it was very wishywashy, and the devs would delete comments that would continue to ask for any evidence that things had been changed "oh the game is being completely reworked, every bug is being rehandled, you wont notice any difference whatsoever but trust, its different" its pathetic. I dont even care about this game anymore, i just want to be proactive in criticizing this behavior because its becoming more and more abundant and there are so many people who are foolishly supporting these peoples eccentric lifestyles for delivering fuck-all.

I don't know where you got that info but it's plainly wrong in all accounts. This update never had an expected release date before the end of November: nobody ever said it was going to be released by August, or May. And what you call 'a few weeks' has always been something in between 4-5 and 10 months.

And you are lying again, there have been at least a couple of Patreon posts showing the differences between original and reworked artworks for this update, on top of the several spoiler pics and wip videos. So when you talk about 'literally no proof' people should not take your word for it. As for deleted messages, I can also assure the only messages deleted are those which included insults and/or false accussations, not those which only asked for 'proofs' or simply stated users' criticism.

On an unrelated note, I fucking hate the concept of reworking. Imagine your favourite long-running show gets a tenth season, and two random episodes from two random seasons are now "reworked". Now rewatch the whole thing and play spot the difference

People seem to love watching outtakes, though, which are essentially reworks of non-released content, like in this case.
