Note: Please note that despite reaching 100% in all tasks, we will still take a few days to make sure there are no additional issues and the update is ready. It is unlikely that 0.5 will be released publicly before Friday, so please be patient. Excessive complaints or spamming the same question repeatedly will only hinder our work. We will release the update as soon as we think it is ready (pinging everyone), first for the patrons, depending on their tiers, and then publicly the day after that. Thanks.
Don't let the 'OMGHurryHurrywhiningwhenupdatewhenupdatewhenupdatereeeeeMilkersOMG' crowd get to you. I'm sure each and every one of them think that if they chose to make a game themselves they could provide an update every day and have a finished, bug free, polished game with thousands of hand drawn artwork scenes done inside a month.Lots of words.
he ain't gonna release till next week, probably fridayrelease today and i will suck devs dicks
For the sake of your mental wellness, please, don't waste time with utter dickheads.- I see an increasing number of people who claim to be patrons call us names, be rudely unhappy about our approach, and then disappear once I reach out to confirm their account and refund their pledges. The offer stands, and if you're dissatisfied with our approach, please get in touch with us on Patreon (or Discord if you have paired your account), and I will give any pledges you have made to us in the past three months (Patreon's limit).
Please don't contribute to the mindless whining, it will be out when it is out- We will still take a few days to make sure there are no additional issues and the update is ready.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This isn't the only game thread getting constantly derailed by people screaming "SCAM! MILKING!" recently. I'm hoping it's just students who still have free time because the school year just started and will die down as they accumulate coursework. There are literally thousands of other games here. If one is taking 'too long' to update, why not search for newly updated ones and play them instead of complaining ad infinitum about this one?
As someone mentioned, the same happens with other games for years and it'll be a constant issue here, too. It's just one of the downsides of creating something that's popular. This isn't the only game thread getting constantly derailed by people screaming "SCAM! MILKING!" recently. Nah, this is different. Yes, you always get people popping in from time to time to pop off about how it's been longer than whatever their personal, arbitrary standard of "long enough" between updates is and, therefore, the dev is just running a scam, but the argument they spawn always dies down quickly. What's been going on lately is multiple games that have different lengths of time since their last update all, at the same time, have enough people coming in to screech about scams that they can consistently derail the thread. Just look at this thread in recent days: people have tried getting us back on track discussing the actual content of the game a couple times only for somebody to run back in within 24 hours and derail again by regurgitating the same already-debunked claims that MagicNuts are just running a scam.As someone mentioned, the same happens with other games for years and it'll be a constant issue here, too. As said, excatly this happens with games like Summertime Saga for years now. Once a release draws closer, it gets more and more, then it's a bit better a for some time and then it starts over again. All I'm saying it that it'll be excatly like this for 0.6, 0.7 etc. and no amount of discussion will change that..Nah, this is different. Even with games that aren't popular and only get a small burst of comments every month or so, the most recent burst are people yammering about how the game has been secretly abandoned while the dev coasts on continued Patreon income.
I'm soo stealing that one
