like 80% of the update is sprites shifting left to right on a still background, there's also a fuck ton of filler text in my opinion.

It's not an opinion, it's a fact. The game still uses the same sprites and backgrounds that were made in the first 2-3 updates for 80%+ of gameplay. At least half of the text is nothing else but fillers. But supporters still cum in their pants right now like there is no tomorrow, because "OH MY GOD! LOOK AT THAT GODLIKE ART!" So I could guess why Devs "developed" this update, which is worth no more than 2-3 months of work for 2+ years

Same level of milking as Summertime Saga, or even worse)

In the past, all the updates were worth it, there's a reason it was one of the best AVNs around.

Unless something drastic happened, I don't see why this one wouldn't be.

The drastic thing that happenend is he has reached a point where he doesn't have to do anything to make money
usually when that starts to happen quality starts to drop

I think there was a time, very very long ago -

When the game still felt like it was the foundation for an amazing sandbox game.

But between the Gypsy update, and the generic Succubus update, and now the Orc update - seems pretty obvious that this is just another linear VN with very colorful drawings.

And TBH this fake sandbox thing just makes it super annoying to play. If you just want to skip through the "story", you constantly have to open the questlog to see where you need to "go" because the game simply has no content you could discover on your own agenda.
