Yeah dude, absolute top quality there!:LOL::LOL::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
No wonder they churned out so many!
Uh i see nothing with those renders. You're comparing that to this????

You're comparing cartoons to something actually trying to create real life renders??? :ROFLMAO: Pathetic.

Anyway, i don't hate this game. In fact, i loved playing it. But the dev is basically an Icstor milker :ROFLMAO:

Maybe? I guess 10 months past the last update and 8 grand each speaks for itself. But who knows.
It's a stupid comparison actually. Because you just need to create one model and you can rig it freely throughout the development and easily created tons of renders, when the other one, you need to hand draw each frame, one by one. And not talking about artstyle, where in game like this, they just have one person to draw to maintain consistency in artstyle, where you can have 100 guys to make a 3D render, as long as they using same model.

30% is a fair estimate.
Circa 20% tax (UK & US rates), Patreon fees are 5% for Lite, 8% for Pro.
There is also a Premium bracket at 12%, but I doubt many devs have gone for that.
They also charge 2.5% per foreign payment conversion.

$18 p/h is obviously calculated on a 40 hour work week ($2,876.5 pcm / 160 = 17.9).
I suspect you can add quite a bit more to this pair's weekly hours, so their hourly rate is probably considerably lower.
If they work a 60 hour week, it's $2,876.5 / 240 = $11.9 p/h.
Totally agree that these guys are still likely working their asses off, and think the idiots complaining about the wait should get over it, but you really wouldn't calculate hourly wages based off what you make post-taxes, it's a bit disingenuous. I'd say count the 8% patreon rate, you're still only sitting around around $23.63 an hour, for game development and art work that's cheap as fuck.

Well then... pardon my ignorance... but you're saying each of these renders are hand drawn. One by one?

Not that i doubt that, in a way... but they do reuse many "drawn" renders... it makes sense why you see only 5ish facial expressions per character. I guess the groundwork have been established. Let's hope the next update in 2025 is actually new stuff.

OK, so pre-tax is $8,219 pcm, /2.
$4,109.5 each.
Let's say it's a 50 hour week.
That's roughly 200 hours per month.
$20.54 p/h, before any deductions.

As you say, cheap as fuck for the work. (y)

This is hand drawn art that looks good, that is digitally reproduced art & those images were pretty shit.
You, once again, prove that you do not have the first clue what you're talking about.
Well done.
Now back in your bitter little corner.
Just as long as i have my bottle of Titos.

You were funny before, but you're becoming boring now.
Just take your doubts & join a PM with the other 3-4 people who share your unfounded, baseless opinion.
You can all validate each other in a little pity party.
Obviously the 2,000+ people who are happy to choose to financially support this dev are much more stupid than you 5 intellectual titans.
You are not achieving anything here, other than painting yourself as an object of mockery.
Not trying to humor you... sorry if you don't feel special. I'm Just expressing an opinion on a porn game in a corrupt world. You don't have to like it.

All this talk of milking is just pointless until the update comes out. If the content and quality are there then obviously they haven't been milking. If the update doesn't then all the milking comments may hold true.
The only thing we know for sure is magicnuts has delivered every time they released an update so far.

Yes and no. As i've said, the game that's released is amazing. No doubt about it.

Re:simplistic artstyle. You only need to check their public posts in Patreon with 3 minute videos about art creation at high speed (x8) and judge for yourselves. In the time a 3D pic is rendered (15-20 minutes), most artists can start to set up the next one(s) in another PC. Meanwhile, Chestnut is still adding shadows, brushing colors and so on to a minor background character from one single cutscene pic
