As much as I'd love to see Anne and Gretta content, I'd still choose the main story I guess. It's been so long since a main story update that I forgot what was the story all about.

Like Serena's been missing for almost three years but our main character is like "Oh, what happened to Serena?! I should look for her immedi... Oh... look at that hot girl! Let's see what her story is about."

I would rather they finish the story so if/when this gets abandoned at least the main quest will be done.

So, one of this "new characters" will be Simmonne's mother, I suppose... It's pity, that she will not have her own arc, but maybe we'll meet her again in some future update, which will be dedicated to Simmonne.

Hm... One arc, uniting decent housewife and brothel prostitute is an unexpected and doubtful move, for sure. The only thing, that unites this two characters for me now, is Waldo and his visits to the brothel. So, I afraid, that the real "main hero" of this arc will be Waldo. Maybe, he will come to brothel, hoping to fuck Anne, Gretta will see this, and will want a divorce, or something like that.

Yeah, idk. One thing with Summertime Saga that makes it kinda passable is that they concluded their main story. So, I think it's best to focus on the main story on this one. I mean, if the story progresses, we're getting closer and closer to Serena and sweet Simmone.

Looks like, after wasting more than 2 years on a single orc, they decided to hurry up thing and mush everything together. So sad. This game had a lot of potential. Couldn't we just vote between Madeline, Maple, Anne and Gretta?

Re:Maple - devs word yesterday on discord:

To be clear, Maple will finish her arc in the course of the Main Story. Her story always felt 'complete' to me -- she just wanted more of the MC (all of him, actually, and forever). We had two quests planned for her, initially. One of those quests will be covered in the Main Story, and the other is switched for something more interesting.

As far as I know, Maple's quests were planned basically as a way to introduce the furry fetish so I'm not sure if this means we're now getting furry content in Main Story. Or maybe that's the part that will be switched for something more interesting? We'll see.

If I had to guess the devs are kind of trying to rush some of the other stories lines along because version 7 took longer to develop than they planned, so they're rolling some of what they had planned together instead of just focusing on one LI like before.
