i hope I don't offend you when I say this, but I would wait. The dev just lost a family member a few months back, and seems to be trying to get back on it. If you could imagine losing that, I'm sure you would understand that it takes time to get back on the usual unless you're auto piloting your life.
Even if it does end, at least you'll know the reason why.

Oh, I wasn't aware of this at all. All my prayers go to him and his family. Yeah, he can take all the time he feels he needs to get back on track. i too know well that feeling cuz i lost my father not long ago.
I just enjoy the game and wish it would still be worked on when i typed that, but with this in mind, it doesn't matter anymore; family and health come first. This can wait

Hi, after a long break.
I haven't spoken because I needed a break, literally from everything. For the last few weeks I didn't even touch daz3d, I didn't feel like it. Only today I can say I longed to bury myself in daz3d, so in the coming days I will try to get back to work on WCgW but I will not impose an unhealthy pace on myself.
Patron subscriptions are paused, and they will remain so until I release the next part of WCgW.
As for reports, I won't be in a hurry with that either; I will start posting regular progress reports when I unpause patron subscriptions.

I’ve gotten seriously back to working on WCgW, though I’m taking care not to push myself at an unhealthy pace. I’ve also paused subscriptions for this month, but I won’t be doing that on July 30th.
You know what that means… It means that at the beginning of August, I should be able to release the next WCgW update. There’s still a lot of work ahead, but I’ve got the whole month for it. Either way, the update is planned for August—if not early in the month, then probably mid-month.
I’ve got to say, after the break, working on WCgW has been really enjoyable again, and I’m eager to release this update.
Heh, let me tell you a little secret.
I want to release WCgW in August because once patch 0.3 for PoE2 drops, I’ll be playing it like crazy. That game really won me over—I’ve always been a fan of ARPGs—and to be honest, playing PoE2 helped me cope with the loss of someone close to me. Everyone deals with grief in their own way; that was mine, plus, the break helped me gain some distance and perspective on this whole "development thing".

Hi.
It’s time to say a few words about the work on the next part of WCgW.
So, I’m currently working on posing scenes with Lana — and let me add that this event will include more than just dialogues ??. For those who haven’t read the previous reports or didn’t have access to them, I’ll say this: in this part of the main character’s story, the path or event with Lana will only be accessible through Fay’s route. This is due to the script I’ve written, and I don’t intend to change the direction I’ve previously laid out.
In my game, the MC won’t be hooking up with girls one after another — hence, there’s no “harem” tag. From the very beginning, the player has to choose which girl they want to pursue. That said, it doesn’t mean I’ll deprive players of the option to change partners (break up with the current girlfriend), but specific conditions must be met for that to happen.
As an example, if you didn’t know — it’s possible to break up with Amanda and get together with Kaitlin. This choice appears during the trip with Kaitlin.
Now, back to what I’ve managed to accomplish so far.
The events with Kait, Fay, and Shanon are already done. I’m currently rendering the prepared scenes. The event with Lana is, hmm… about 60% finished.
As for the event with Amanda — I haven’t mentioned it yet because I haven’t started rendering her scenes. Initially, I was planning to postpone Amanda’s episode to the next update, but posing the previously mentioned scenes went smoothly, so Episode 2 Part 3 will also include the event with Amanda.
When it comes to dialogues, I’m in the middle of translating the texts for the Shanon and Fay events. Kaitlin’s part is already translated, and once I finish with the remaining ones, I’ll send them off to the proofreader. The dialogues with Lana and Amanda are still left, but I’ll get to them once I consider their scenes/events finished.
Besides that, I also need to implement all of this into Ren’Py — which shouldn’t take too much time — but for now, I’m focusing on work in DAZ 3D.
Now a few words for future patrons regarding the release of Episode 2 Part 3.

Just a quick reminder—as of today, the subscription for patrons is being unpaused. If anyone would like to send some of their money my way, I’d be extremely grateful.
Why am I bringing this up?
I need around $1000/month to cover my bills and have a bit left for basic necessities. $1000 is more than 200 Tier 2 patrons (the Patreon takes a cut), so I’m still quite a bit short of being able to support myself solely through working on WCgW.
If I could, I would set up a donation goal so potential supporters would know exactly where their money is going. Listen—if I didn’t have to, I wouldn’t be writing this, but the situation is forcing me.
Thanks to your financial support, I could focus on developing WCgW without the stress, which would significantly reduce the time between updates. I believe producing 250–300 renders a month is within my capabilities.
Now regarding the upcoming update.
Since the post I published on June 15, I’ve produced 380 renders—and that number really surprised me compared to how hard it used to be for me to create even a few renders per week (you know the reason).
Today I finished the event with Lana, and if it weren’t for the fact that I decided to add an event with Amanda as well, I could probably release Episode 2 Part 3 in just a few days.
So far, I’ve implemented about one-third of the content into Ren’Py and started testing parts of the code that have already been added. I’ve also started cleaning up and reorganizing the code to make it more readable—but I’m testing those changes on a separate copy of the game. Once I’m satisfied with the results, I’ll apply the changes to the original files.
Today I also managed to prepare the first renders featuring Amanda, so things are looking good.
That’s all. My next post should include detailed information about the upcoming update.

Hey everyone!
Today I’m wrapping up work on the Amanda event. The last steps are translating the text, sending it to my proofreader, implementing it into Ren’Py, and running tests.
On top of that, I still have over 100 images left to render and about a dozen more to fix.
Because of that, WCgW Ep2 Part 3 will be released on Friday, August 15.
I could rush it, but that would mean pushing myself at an unhealthy pace—and I’d rather make sure the update gets the time and attention it deserves.
Release schedule:
- Tier 5 – August 15 (Friday) – Initial release
- Tier 4 – August 18 (Monday)
- Tier 3 – August 20 (Wednesday)
- Tier 2 – August 22 (Friday)
Depending on your chosen path, you’ll be able to see scenes with Kaitlin, Shanon, Amanda, Fay, and Lana.
Just a quick reminder—Lana’s event will only be available through Fay’s path.
If you don’t choose that option, you won’t get to see her scenes.

Yes, but you can get out of it (part as friends) pretty quickly. It has to be forced, as it's the reason you are leaving town.
Some of that deception is also coming from users, that for one reason or another have malicious intent towards devs. I've seen so many times people accuse devs of scamming etc... when there's no evidence towards it. Only some of the devs seem to be mostly avoiding these false accusations and other malicious acts from these kinds of users.Forgive me friend. I did not mean to offend. ALAS. All because there is a lot of deception and mistrust on the site. FORGIVE me, once again.

Let’s put that aside.
I may have reacted a bit strongly because, when I read your comment, I felt like it was aimed at me as a developer. Please don’t take it the wrong way—there’s been quite a bit of negative feedback in the game’s thread, and after a while I just stopped replying to questions because I’d had enough. On top of that, what I went through during my mom’s final days was incredibly hard to process, and it made me more sensitive when reading comments—even ones that might not have been directed at me personally.
But let’s change the topic.
Next Friday, I’m planning to create a post about the upcoming WCgW update, since I’ve already started working on it. For now, I just want to say that once Ep2 Part 3 finally lands in your hands, I hope you’ll enjoy what I’ve prepared.
