Since we are here in the adult game forum i'll just take an adult game and i can only take a finished game since the ones in development can still screw up big time, we've all seen that plenty of times.

Noxian Nights and Liz of the Tower were some of the best rpgm games I've played. Definitely recommend playing them

are we talking like adult 18+ games or every games there is? if it adult games, it would be defenestration. if its every games, it would be Resident Evil 4 honestly
I have yet to come across a game that maintains its sexiness, fun, well written, NO tedious grinding, minimal bugs, good cohesive storyline, and among other things doesn't require a walk through simply to navigate the dev's chaotic mess. I'm amazed how many games there are on the site that look like they were made by horny amateurs, I know that sounds harsh, but that's based on the games I've tried, but the popular ones as well as the obscure ones.
Don't think I've ever played an adult game that I'd label a "masterpiece". Not even close, despite playing tons of games. Like the guy above me said, most adult games are pretty god damn bad. Of all the ones I've tried I estimate that less than 5% are games I'd consider to be "good", nevermind masterpieces. Free Cities is probably the best one I've played, and it is a very good game, but it still has plenty of issues.

My Masterpiece game i've played is Mass Effect 3.
Yes, the last 15 minutes with it's colorscheme is not good, but omg all the way to it's finale was so damn good. All the old Teammates i've met and lost during that journey made me cry a several times.
The helplessnes i feeled during the Reaper attack on the Asari homeworld, or the last words i changed with Anderson on the destroyed Citadel, that still touches me, even years after i finished the game.
So yes, i played many many many games, but ME3 is the game i will always remember.

Why would an adult game need those things you mention?
There have been a couple games like that, with their own engine etc.
Like 3D Sex Villa or Singles 1 & 2. Or Illusion games.
Or even The Sims with mods.
Yet those games are also missing something and it doesn't have anything to do with their engine.
I think the problem of these games is the lack of story.
Really, I am quite content with games like the ones you are participating in, and don't see that much room for improvement. Of course renders can always be better / more realistic, but the best Daz renders look way better than any AAA 3D game. The biggest room for improvement given an AAA budget would be to create more branching storylines and therefore more freedom, with the drawback that many players will never see all content.
