I believe its just the latest version the dev made before he decided to abandon it as the dev already confirmed before that the remake is abandoned. "WMIY Remake is abandoned. The project was simply too big for a single person to write, code, and animate on his own. The work load got to me and I found myself enjoying working on it less and less." But I'll ask if theres anything at all new in the works. Don't get your hopes up though.
Wtf...the dev post a remake after abandoning this game so long...only to then immediately abandon it again?
There have already been a couple of code errors in the first 10 minutes playing the remake. Does anyone know if the whole game is like this? Thanks. (also really wish there was a mod to change the font!)

Thats indeed what happened. He abandoned the first 3 game parts then started to remake the game then abandoned the remake. I already answered this question yet multiple people asked. Can you guys not read?
