I don’t know that you could necessarily call the writing here realistic. I mean the MC has a pet snake that behaves like a puppy, Miru is basically the manic pixie dream girl trope turned up to 11 and every other conversation is weird pseudo-intellectual musings on the nature of people and relationships.

It’s certainly not as sleazy as a lot of other games here, but let’s not pretend this is a realistic drama.

yeah its not the most realistc game in the world and it dont needs too be I mean too much realism will be unfun too but the reason why i apretiate ocean so much is that he trys to create a realistic world in every other games that I (and i played alot) with good and amazing qualitie in terms of render and music you always have this weird feeling that the world dont feels alive expacially with the male cast in other games with young adults ( especially on college partys) but in this game I have the feeling that the relationship with miru feels like a realationship i like how other males and females act and i want too learn more about the story in other games i dont really care because the world dont feels alive because they focuse way to much too make the world turn around mc they make you feel like the super hero but in this game I actually have the feeling that there are good guys and bad guys and women with different gaoals and likings so I have the feeling that every cheracter has a personalitie (feels alive) even the snake seems to have one and this is something that feels missing in other games they cant create that bonding if you get what i mean

I think a good story can be complete insanity and wackiness, so long as it’s executed right and with a level of self-awareness with the tone.

But I think with this game, because it takes itself so seriously things like the snake behaving essentially like a semi-sentient companion rather than an indifferent reptile pet, or the MC and Miru having anime characteristics feels jarring because they’re at odds with what the story is about and how it’s otherwise presented.

Is NTR a significant part of the game? I find it enjoyable but jw, not looking to start an argument haha
There was a decent amount in the original. As of now in the rework, there isn't really any other than discussion about poly/open relationship, which I don't consider NTR if you both agree to it, and losing a game of darts (if you go down that route) and Miru has to flash a guy her boobs...if you even consider that NTR (I don't).. Anyway, there's setup for NTR, it's just not really there yet.

Well, opinions don't fall in the direction I expected. Been playing these games a while and seen some really good and some really not so good stuff. This update, from my perspective, is fantastic. The incredible detail in the animation. Help me if I'm wrong, but I haven't seen much out there to equal or surpass what's been done in this re-write. It's really a pretty good story now, and Miru, who in the original was the template asian female daz character and was a bit annoying, is now red hot and not only a vital character, but probably will be a pivotal one. I can totally get starting over, it's all different now, and to go back after writing in the new format to the end would be not only a pain for the dev, but would be in reality pretty unfair for the dev's new patrons. As for time between updates...if it's going to be to generate this kind of quality...worth the wait. Plenty of other things to do and even games to play.

what the heck does NTR mean ?????
You were me until a short while ago...netotare I guess, which is a Japanese word is hyphenated as NTR online and refers to a significant other hooking up with a significant(or not) someone else. Adultery, I think, is the pre millennium term

I remember in the previous game you could end your relationship with Miyu, am I right?
Will it be possible in this version ?

Play. Especially if you played the old version. I think it rocks. Only the first episode, mind you, but given the render quality you'll understand why.
