It seems like a sneak attack. This morning, in almost every thread I follow, there are a couple of guys asking "update when?"
If this isn't a flashmob, the only answer you can receive: "when it's ready."
Almost no developer (except for a few well-organized guys) can plan their releases in such a way that they can announce them several months in advance. So the question makes no sense. Sorry for the bitter truth.

I finished WIAB of the old testament, little content with Miru, more focus on Katie and Leia, interesting the branches of options it had, including Elena is a hottie, I understood Katie's scar at the beginning I thought Sasha was her daughter kkkkkk, anyway, I think that some things Ocean reused in both games after the rework.

Did you notice Elena's surname was Petrova (so Sasha's mum who is Elena Petrova in SG who owns the golf course and tennis club we have heard about already), and Donna's was Revera (presumably the mom of the Revera who is on the first team)? It's strange how a lot of people focus on the plot in the Zane household as being the important plot, but to some extent, the way two seeming enemies become a consortium that purchase a college seems most interesting to me. Both pre and reworked versions kept these details mysterious, so I think they're more important than who bangs who. And it's tied in with Helen's past.
Also notice the basketball theme with Katie, and Abigail wanting William to go undercover at the college prerework, while post rework Willi and Miru want to snoop around the college, and Willi's looking for work, in SG Jenna mentions he was coaching the team Katie was on, and Katie went to the same college as Kat...
These are the kind of connections that are good examples to show how Ocean is keeping some elements, changing others, but still broadly developing a similar story while keeping us second guessing him.

I actually played for the first time in March 2024 and it was the rework WIAB, a friend recommended me at the time to wait for S1 to come out to play SG, so I waited for months and looked at the photos of the games and even on a website it showed the scar of both Kate and Sasha and I didn't know about the Petrova relationship that's why I mentioned in the "beginning I thought Sasha was a daughter" precisely because of the scar, after I played SG I realized they weren't kkkk. I played the Old Testament WIAB for the first time this week.

Oh cool, I hope you picked up on some of those things though - such as if you get Donna pregnant in the old version does that imply she might have been intended as a LI once the game developed further? Does that have any implication for the new Donna? Is the new Donna still a Revera? We also see William playing basketball with Katie, we see Abigail ask him to be an undercover coach in the college, and we know in SG Jenna talks about William as a coach, does that mean we'll see Jenna in WiaB? And the uncle who taught Nika basketball? Even if it's no longer canon, it does suggest a few things to look out for once ch4 drops, areas to pay attention to.

Exactly, but in the old WIAB I didn't have sex with Donna, Katie got screwed with the ISTs. But I noticed that Katie and Leia's relationship is very different in the new WIAB, I noticed that at the beginning of the old one they called themselves "best friends" and in the middle it became "father, mother, sister and brother", I'm curious to know if Ocean will keep this relationship since he lost the patreon. In theory it wouldn't make sense for him to come back as "best friends"
I talked to a friend about Nika, I would say he's William or Leia's son but thinking about the patreon's policies, if it's true Ayua for example will be nothing more than a friend, and only Ocean knows how many daughters Will had so he's kind of preserving SG, in my head he cut the relationship between the Zanes or will only reveal it at the end of the game, I'm curious to know why Nojiko doesn't like Katie.

If it is considered that William and Leia are twins, for example, even if Nkka is Leia's son with someone else, he would still carry William's genes and it would make a lot of sense for him to be the "uncle" who taught him basketball, but in any case there would still be incest between cousins taking into account if he has something with Ayua or one of William's daughters.

Even though WiaB isn't on patreon eventually things like that will be problematic. SS won't avoid the same attitude in the end, it is simply a question of time. It's also a simple maths question - Ocean makes his living by selling stories, what happens if he can't sell them? Some devs do things in their spare time, but dev time is already slow enough. And Ocean has leases on gear, he's unlikely to risk those leases.
We might not see it in the next release, or we might, but in my mind the longer Ocean leaves that uncertainty around, the harder it will be to develop the games.
