Is it only me or I can get annoyed by temperature inconsistencies? Renders itself are phenomenal don't get me wrong. But dev can really go thru all the renders in Lightroom and check if temperature, tint is matching. This is the most important thing in movies/slides/VN's - consistency. No huge deal but would be better to have consistent colors.

Agree with everything you typed except the pacing. I don't think the pacing was off at any point. It was consistent throughout the entire game, even the new chapter.

What you should be criticizing is the extreme tonal shift introduced by chapter 4. Everything was flowing nicely until you get to Leia's house. Then suddenly you start playing a completely different game. Suddenly there are families and mobs and retarded rules that make no fucking sense. Some characters suffer a dramatic shift in personality. The plot just goes off the rails.

i meant that some things were rushed and some things dragged on forever, to me. and, to me, thats pacing.
the tonal shift is also a completely valid point, however, mentally, i put that into the whole part about the nonsensical plotlines, etc.

i completely forgot to mention the fact that HELEN, an ENORMOUS target, stashed a gun, OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE.
and not just that! she stashed it somewhere she'd have to have exposed herself to whomever was there to do anything to her BEFORE she could even reach the fucking gun that could potentially have helped in the situation.

well I have to do a full replay and there's so much ocean "writing" I can tolerate per day, but from what I've played so far (up to the gym scene), I see he didn't really fix any of the issues... and I just can't believe he put it on steam without even doing something about the fonts... his UI is still dogshit too. With how much time he takes, you'd think he'd put in some effort into the bare minimum of making the dialogues readable...

At this point, I am convinced that the NTR tag is there to bait more people into the game. The only scene that Miru has that is remotely "NTR" you have to jump through hoops and choose a very specific dialogue to unlock it.

I liked the update, the only drawback is the little details that Ocean doesn't give a fuck to explain, for example, Miru's cunt piercing or nipple piercings change, dude, you have Miru with a hangover, just add 2 lines, MC asking why he has these piercings now and Miru replying like "I don't know, I was drunk".

This VN is really good, Ocean's work has not been in vain. I don’t think that rewriting the story is a problem at all. Yes, it might upset a certain category of people with an incest fetish (I have nothing against that), but I think Ocean did a good job with the rewrite. Out of the options he had, he chose a decent one. Sure, there are some gaps and nonsense in the story, but it’s still just as interesting, funny, and enjoyable as it was before the changes.

All VNs have story issues — there are very few with a strong plot from beginning to end. I hope Ocean isn’t too burned out after all the rewrites, both story-wise and graphically. He’s done an amazing and powerful job. I’m impressed by his endurance, considering he’s doing everything alone.

I hope Ocean has finally found that vision for his VN that he’s been aiming for, and that all the improvements to his workflow (PC, rendering stations, etc.) he’s made over time will help the development go more smoothly and quickly. Because this is his main problem — his content heavily relies on sexual elements. If in the next update we get only things like petting pussy, foot kissing, boob sucking, and similar light stuff without actual sex scenes with penetration with all the girls, it will seriously damage the trust in Ocean. I really hope he’s not a fan or follower of the Lust & Passion (AWAM) dev — that’s cringe (not an ad) — and that he aligns more with devs like DrPinkCake (Being a DIK), where the story pacing is great and not boring, with plenty of sex scenes.

Ocean clearly wants to create a deeper story than the examples I mentioned. I understand the slow pace and the stretching for financial reasons and to further improve the quality of images and animations, which, judging by the latest update, are absolutely unmatched in my subjective opinion. It's like next-gen in visual novels! — but damn, don’t overdo it. It's the anticipation of the hot and intimate scenes that keeps people supporting your work, so don’t abuse that trust by dragging things out for 7 years straight.
