That would be great my only advice is to wait at least for the next update Ocean may do somthing to exactly contradict the patch like a back story of Will and Leia parents just to say to the gods in patreon "i swear it wasn't me"I can't deny that rewriting parts of chapter 4 to accommodate William and Leia beings twins is a challenge, but given enough time, I think I'm up to the challenge. Here's my vision for it: William and Leia are the same family, taken in by the Zanes when their parents were murdered (that part doesn't change). But the reason for William bailing years ago is still because of the relationship with Leia, but not because of some "mob family" bullshit rule, just because...they're siblings...and because of "family" pressure. The forced mariage rules becomes a way to try and break that relationship at its roots, to distance Leia from William. So the whole mafia stuff will be there to stay, sorry if that still hurts your trying to make sense of it all
On a sidenote, I do believe that's what Ocean had envisioned himself at some point, when he said that only Leia and William would be related. When you have a closer look at the script and dialogues you do realize that stuff was probably the last to go in his numerous changes to family dynamics.

I think it's pretty clear that this will definitely go to their parents backstories. Too much hidden, and too much foreshadowing, demands it.

Yeah, I'm among those who feel the relationship changes have made a mess of the story. I'll still follow it for the eventual lewd scenes, but the story is now too convoluted and stupid (for me). I get there are people who like it. But meh, what do they know? lolOk one more WiAB lover disappointed with the new update
I can relate to this. When I first got into VNs, I tried to keep to "safe" stuff. Never imagined I'd read an incest one and get anything out of it. I don't remember if it was WiaB or something like Sisterly Lust where I was finally like "fuck it." Now, incest doesn't even phase me as a tag, it might well say vaginal sex or something.
Because patreon has declared that it will no longer buy fairy tales about landlords and roomates, that's why this whole mystical story about mafia rules Nojiko is not a surrogate mother to Nika and Nami, nor their landlord. They are now part of the same mafia program as Leia and William, in fact, it can now be said this part of the story for SG and WIAB is written by Patreon and not Ocean. I wonder what he will do if they tell him that they don't buy ''mafia rules'' either.
This. If he just dropped a lot of lore in this game to expand the universe and give more info about Summer's Gone, then he does this. I don't understand Mav defending this heap of shit. The rewrite is just that bad.

I would not say is a shitshow, is honestly better than I expected, I was between Ocean going SG route and - wink,wink. That dosen't work there but is just one stance, and here would be a full shitshow. And he cutting Leia as a LI, with migth have been the less drastic of decisions, even though I would not like it. Expanding the criminal side of the story, makes sense, it trully does. What dosen't make sense is how he just pivot the story in the first 15 min of this update, and half of it is just retconing the first 3 chapthers. Not in information but in subtext, maybe is because I don't have fresh eyes, but it still very much feels like William is coming back home to all the shame that it means, not to be Judged and maybe killed. Is a HUGE tonal whipslash, one that I can't completly fault him for but it is here nonetheless. By the end of the update things got way better, the whole Leia club is great and there is many juicy little things for the thread to talk about once the postmortum ends. Is a good update. But Ocean still has to work some things out, is a work in progress, he did not sell it as a finihed product, so just don't make a problem for William be with Katie now, aside maybe Leia, no marriage plot or elder law. They are just people that can and will - if player chosse to- fuck each other maybe it will bring more change down the line but I would say it will make the story work better.Have you finished it already or nah???
