Summer's Gone is a great game if you like blue balls and unlikable, sullen, asshole protagonists.

I didn't get any blue balls through out the entire playthrough...not even once...maybe a couple of hard-ons, it is full of building relations for now...and the MC is not unlikable or asshole, he went through some big shit and is recovering and healing those still deep wounds from the past. It a game of healing if you will.

Oh, the Scarlet Scandal! I don't really mind Scarlet being younger than Helen. It isn't uncommon for siblings to be 10 years or more removed in age. My daughter and her younger sister were born almost 18 years apart. But if the game keeps the mom fetish from the original it may not play as well into it. Still, a good-looking model. Scarlet's story in the original game kind of ended with an evil shrug, so I am curious to see where this new game will take her.

The problem is not the age difference between Helen and Scarlet, the problem is that Scarlet still has two children who are at least 18 years old....

Not a problem if she popped them out when she was a teen. The model could still pass for early 30's with Helen in her late 40's.

It's a matter of perspective, I don't see that model looking over 25 years old. More seeing the rest of the mature women that Ocean has done.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. It is not to my taste. It is like "Come for the hot girls with big tits, stay for the crushing depression and existentialist ennui." The girls are great, but the MC is a garbage person who is cruel to other characters even when you make kind choices. Maybe at the end of his arc, he will have "healed" enough to treat other humans with dignity and respect but for now, I just hate spending time in his skin. It makes me feel gross.

The rework has been a success for some characters undeniably, but Scarlett is a definite miss for me. This new Scarlett is too young, not a milf. I even found Ch6 Scarlett hotter than the reworked one. Her character was shallow but her looks were more clearly convincing. While I don't doubt that Ocean's storytelling will help make the new Scarlett convincing as well after she gets screen time, I don't think very credible to have a character who looks under 35 to be the mother of at least one adult, and we have way more young characters than milfs already.

Yeah I think Scarlett’s redesign is really big fumble. Chapter 6 had the sweet spot of her being attractive whilst still looking realistically like an older woman. New design doesn’t capture that and it’s actually kind of boring.

Oceanlab NEVER had a miss for me personally. I said before that he by far has the most beautiful women of any game.
Unfortunatelly i have to agree here with everyone else. New Scarlet looks too young, she definitely doesnt look like a MILF, she is suppose to be around Helens age but could easily pass as her daughter, on top of that she kinda looks bland.
Old Scarlet looked way more appealing to me personally. Seriously i think he could have just updated ch. 6 Scarlet and it would have worked perfectly. We have a lot of young characters in the game we need more defyning MILFs. Ch. 6 Scarlet looked like a trophy wife, like some rich dude married her back when she was a model in her twenties and shes now in her 40's. The new one looks like a girl from a liberal arts college on her way to get another pumpkin spice latte with that goofy oversized hat. Its a shame but even Oceanlab isnt perfect. With that said its just 1 female i can skip. Hopefully the other girls are up to the usual Oceanlab standard.

I'd say if the goal is to make Scarlet look closer to Helen's age, if he can do something maybe with her facial skin just to not make it look like a 20 year old's that would probably go a long way. Leia would be sister of the MC.

I didn't realize this was a supernatural game about a disembodied spirit trying to live again. So is it Summer who is trying to find a body to animate?

I think that in this sense "spirit" is used in its uncommon definition of being an individual, not a ghost. I think it could be phrased better and if I was editing it I would have put "BW" over it. It is referring to the MC, who has been a shut-in for years after his prepubescent crush left, disappeared, died, etc. Now he is being hit in the face with a tidal wave of pussy but is still a miserable bastard.
