Ok, I understand your frustration with the comment above, but you have to agree that these are not really 'scenes' at all.

Yeah, I tend to agree with you, old WiaB had some really good scenes that the new with all the updated visuals don't quite hit the same note, I especially remember the only Leia scene. Ocean knows how to write sex scenes, he has done it in the past, even the ass job of Nami in the jacuzzi is better than WiaB sex scenes in my opinion. I think that here the problems is that we only have sex scenes with Miru, who is great, but we don't have a build up to it, and kinda feels you fuck just to keep Miru satisfied, not out of obligation but almost routine, with makes sense in a 5+ year relantionship. That said, I still find some scene really good, of the rework I think the gym scene is the best.
All I'm saying is that dialogue has to be well written for it to enhance sex scenes. If Katie says "Willi you're filling me up so good!" I will (personally) find it very unsexy. Katie's dialogue in old WiaB related to the scene and was not generic. MIru's scenes were just best to get over with quickly.... the dialogue in a sex scene should still follow the character's personalities.
What I am about to write is totally personal, but it may be a shared opinion. The difference I notice with Miru is the existence or not of the NTR. What I mean, in the old WIAB there was already the doctor at the beginning, so Miru's sexual needs were palpable, so the construction of the sexual scenes rested almost exclusively on her, although it is a rushed construction, it was useful. And precisely the scene in the gym or in the pool have that same vibe, the vibe of being Miru who builds the scene and it's more than “let's fuck? mmmm... mmmm... ok"

Well, I was mostly replying to the comment that the worst thing in the games were the sex scenes. They're actually pretty good. They're better than models changing body shape and size, and inconsistent timelines that cause plot holes. To my mind the worst problems are not the sex scenes. I know Ocean can write them well, but so far there's been nothing other than contented sex in the couple's safe territory. I don' expect that will remain for much longer. I also think it exists as safe and vanillia so that players feel guilty if they start cheating on Miru, to build up the sense of tension, and also to push both Miru and Willi into sexual exploration. In this sense, some bland/cheesy romantic lines would help that hit home.
I think you might be right , although I am not a NTR fan it helped to convey Miru urges, I would point out that the game still does that, if you don't fuck Miru she has different dialogues and we get the bathroom scene. I prefer the new approach but I can see how the older made the point clearer. I also agree that the better part of the two scenes is Miru who builds -iniciantes- it but the difference is that William is way more participant, both at the start of the game and the good night fun William don't much engages in the act as let Miru get her release, that is why I think the scenes are more tepid now, what I would like to see is William more participant in the scene.
I can and I am sure Ocean does as well, but the game did not reach the point where a scene like this would make sense story wise, William only got home 3 days ago, even the most chad of AVNs MC could not build a harem in this time frame. I am sure that we will have scene where this aspects are gonna be explored but is just way to early for that, let the man cook.
I completely agree with the feeling of the scenes being intentional and it honestly makes perfect sense story and character wise, that still don't make it good or fun scenes, I would not say they are bad... but they are tepid, aside from the gym one. About the open relationship, yeah it did felt like Miru punishing William and I am curious to see how this branch evolves if you keep Miru satisfied versus shoot her down every time. Miru never wanted the open relationship thing, and there is the no list.
He doesn't need a harem to make Miru jealous.
I think it's still early for Miru's jealousy to be triggered. She doesn't know what kind of relationship Willi has with all the different women, but when she found out about Mon and when Willi started calling Dana by a nickname, she jumped to conclusions. So I think there will be those elements, it is just that the story is still at the point where Miru is content. I think the first big test will be Miru's trip, and her maybe coming back unexpected to notice something.
Jealousy doesn't work that way... no matter what relationship you have with someone, if there is jealousy, there is jealousy.... What we can debate is whether Miru presents herself as jealous or not. On the one hand her reaction to Daphne may be an indication that she is a jealous person. Or can we consider that it is only with Daphne? That insecurity about the possibility of feelings being born between them, makes me very close to the feeling that Miru is jealous in general, despite their conversations (this always made me think that the open relationship option was presented too early in the story, rushed like the conversation with Zoey).
