Well I don't think she called for help with that specifically...or (as Bob said) with help from Abigail either. Just a waste of time in reality (maybe not for the MC, but he learns nothing that Leia doesn't already know).

The real actual reasons why she called him? I guess they are to be revealed...hopeully sooner rather than later heh.

It seems to me that the answer to the question why Leia didn’t call earlier is in the old version. She literally said, in her mind, William never worried about her. She was just another toy for him. What was the point of calling before the incident just to hear how he would tell her to fuck off (in her mind)? Apparently she convinced herself that the past was in the past and was ready to face her fear. However, the reality turned out to be more cruel and all the buried feelings returned. And it is not clear what is greater than love or hatred, the desire for revenge or to come to peace.

Exactly...it's a classic love/hate relationship isn't it. She still wants him for herself but would never admit it. Yet the scenes at the police station show how much she actually despises and hates him also for leaving her. Remember there is a piece of dialogue where she insinuates she has not slept with anyone/had a relationship since he left.

Can you please point out in what specific dialogue she's hinting at this? I seem to have overlooked such an essential detail. In the previous version she wasn't a virgin, but if in this version she decided to save herself for him I'll be very pleased.

Dude, I know Leia talked to Monica already. I even said that I think everyone talked to Monica... why do you want to make that your point when it's heavily emphasized in the story ? I also insisted several times that, for me, Leia hoped MC would provoke a reaction in Monica, enough that she would let something slip. that implies Leia already talked to Monica, bro.

MC being away makes a ton of difference. and he comes back after learning about the accident, that also makes a ton of difference. it means he wasn't part of all their family bullshit and business for all those years, and most importantly, it means he is not a potential suspect in the investigation. Usually people close to the victim are suspects, so all Helen's family are potential suspects too. the police know all of their crimes, but they can't prove it yet, that's all. Abigail is Helen's best friend. She knows what they all went through when MC ran away, they didn't fake it, MC wasn't part of their family for more than a decade, and he left when he was still a kid. he has no part in their crimes. and Abigail and Monica are who matters here, the rest of the police don't matter. MC is worlds apart from Leia and Dylan in their eyes, even if Monica still hates him.

Monica has been described as an exemplary cop. She would not let anything slip just because she would be a little drunk. and she would suspect that to be the purpose for the hang out anyway, and more importantly, she would not let herself get drunk enough to lose control. her reaction to a face to face with MC would be 1000s of times stronger than being drunk.

in that scenario of yours, there would be no reason, absolutely none, why Leia would call MC then. but she did. proving that whole scenario wrong.

The reason I've made it a point is that Leia already had everything she needed from both Monica and Abigail. In the script Leia said basically that she wants William to seduce Mon to be an insider and she sent him to break the ice. Leia has a further plan.

It's really clear Leia is trying to get people close to the police to find informants.

Other than that, I can guarantee that the Zanes were informed that the case was closed. Monica socialises with Katie: Mon's hanging out with Katie in her time off, and grew up with the Zanes, that's why she was at Kat's birthday. Mon, as a fully professional police officer spends time with these questionable people, and makes house calls to them in plain clothes. Abigail is Helen's bestie.

And William has a rap sheet. He's not clean or innocent. He's in their database, even if it's a different county. It doesn't matter whether he was there or not, he's got a criminal past. There is no ton of difference. The only reason Abigail is talking to them is because of Helen as the case is closed. Anything Abigail is doing on a closed case is a breach of protocol.

Abigail even said she wondered when they'd come to her.

As far as proving the crime, the case was closed by the feds.

I'm not being argumentative for the sake of it, it's simply the script challenges your point pretty strongly in my opinion.

I would also add Bob (for clarity) that the case is only dropped by the local police department. Both Mon and Abigail state, the case is in the hands of the feds. Now, assuming neither are lying and believe it really is the 'real' feds, then the case is not closed and the case is a lot more convulated/important than Leia is letting on...

Or the feds would not be involved at all....that, or it was just someone believable enough to convince Abigail they were feds...when they weren't...

However, yes Leia would know this as if the local police dept close a case (or if is taken off them by a higher authority), they have a duty to inform the injured party of this fact. They don't just close a case (which as you have made mention of after a week or so, it's been some months since the accident) without informing you of such.

The most funny thing is that Miru most likely knows very well about the relationship between Leia and William. At least a small clue, the situation with Monica. She said when William mentioned that she should know something about Monica, she immediately assumed that they had something. But William said the same words about Leia. So we can safely assume that even before coming to Wollast, she had already assumed a relationship with Leia. Well, after meeting Leia, she hardly had any doubts about who his love was and now she just has to wait for William to simply add details. And what’s even more funny is that if Miru easily read the situation, then what can we say about the other family members? It seems to me that not only Dylan, but also all the other family members knew very well about them. I think William's face will be priceless when he realizes that everyone already knew everything.

Edit: Further on the suspected or real feds, the previous version had high level corruption in the legal system, so I'd say that when Abigail and Leia hint at a group that might be behind it, they already have their own suspicions on why the "feds' or the actual feds got involved. All Willi gets is the breadcrumb of Asavera is Leia's competition.

The worst thing about Leia is that her actions only drive herself deeper into a hole and she is unable to admit mistakes. With her actions, she brought uncle Joe to prison, which only worsened the situation.The bikers disbanded, the Krayt gang only got stronger. In place of the old leader,who is in a coma,a new one has arrived, much more ambitious and who does not want to share power and with whom it is difficult to come to an agreement. Now Dylan tells her in plain text that increasing supplies will not only worsen the situation with Krayt, but will also add even more attention from the cops /feds. But for her it’s all bullshit. The Krayt gang are ants, the police are not dangerous. Abigail tells her in plain text that she is blind and that Asavera is a big problem, but she doesn’t care. She’s just chasing power for power’s sake. Even the situation with William, she thought that all the feelings were in the past, but suddenly the mask fell off, the feelings flared up and for some reason William did not fall for the charm, he refused to be a puppy. What's even more interesting is who of her girls is a rat?
PS: I’m also wondering if there’s a chance that Abigail will be LI? And yes, the green color of her eyes is very interesting.

Don't remember about that specific dialogue, in the old version I don't think that it is true and she had encounters with other means.

for me she thought that she was over him and could handle it but realize that she was not, but at the same time she cant bring herself to admit that she still want whatever they have in the past. Really curius to see how the converse between them will go next update

There is no way in hell that Willian goes one week with out sex, even if there was no Miru, cant see it.But 15 I think that is way too much time to have passed, they would be 31 and dont think that is the case. True, the timeline of events is a little blurred, between the events that leaded to him to runway, the prison and the start of the story

Not sure...but if take what is presented...so yeah let's say they are 30. That would put Katie/Zoe/Kat etc around 21...22'ish (they still in college)....only an 8 year'ish difference. It's possible for sure.

As for earlier than that, I can't see why Katie would wait so many years before threatening them (or just Willi) with outing 'the truth'...so has to be closer to them being 16 (when he got outta dodge).
