The only thing wrong with that random Apartment pic, is the shadow left by the invisible ceiling fan. I don't see anything wrong with it, especially if you're a loner. Now, if you're a "people" person then, I know they'll judge you for it.

You gotta live the way they want you to live, fuck that. If they were really your friends, they would have gotten you some seats or Brang some over themselves. Wasting money on home items just to please other people lols screw that noise.

I apologize for this boy being a day late.

I was committed to building furniture, and that's what I did for most of the day...

I sold it as an alternative Berlin apartment style. (I didn't but it would probably work.)

But I'm 99% sure that it's not going to work out. I love working on the games and I'm in it with burning passion... But if someone you want to work with isn't... We have a problem.

I doubt she'd ever reach the level of quality needed in terms of environmental design needed with her mindset.

Selfmade HDRIs.
I've started shooting my own HDRI images. In a future Blender log, I will explain HDRIs and why I'm shooting them myself in more detail. (It will be quite a bit of work, but as soon as I get the workflow down, it will be great.)

I drove to a closed gas station yesterday night and took around 30 images 3EV 5. (Not optimal but my cam can't do any better.)

"Can you show us the HDRI?"

Well uhm... You see... Umm... I can't find the cable to transfer the images to my PC... And I will need a new lens... I have a 14mm lens but the APS-C crop factor (1.5x) of my Sony A6400 fucks with it. (I need a lens with ~15mm).

I might just lease a camera at some point so I won't have to deal with that damn crop factor anymore. (And can shoot in 2EV 7 which is optimal.)

I'm not doing this because I'm bored. There's some intention behind it. I will talk about it in more detail in a future log.

Interactive leaves.
I want to integrate a few new thingies into the games. One of those are interactive symbols in some scenes. From now on, you can find leaves in some scenes, and they will be clickable. Clicking them unlocks a secret render.

Some of them can be a little tricky to spot. If you play WIAB without NTR, you will unlock the normal extra render. If you have it turned on, there will also be an NTR version of it.

I'm aware that quite a few play WiAB due to the NTR content... But said content takes a while to make believable... So at least you get some snacks until the time comes for some real content.

I had faced an issue ever since I started thinking about WIAB on Steam... With the events that went down in March and WiAB losing 98% of its support overnight, I was forced to find a solution to the following question much earlier than expected:

"How to publish WiAB on Steam/GOG and for the story, etc. to make sense?"

With the new update, there will be some changes to a certain part of the game. And they might be an issue for some people, and welcomed by others.

The only person related to William (MC) is Leia.

Certain love stories will feel much more natural, solving a big issue I faced in Season 2. You'll see how it feels and plays out in the next update.

The further we get, the bigger its impact.

Personally, after the dark clouds of pessimism that characterize me, what worries me is the construction of credibility. I have always said that it is important to me that one can believe in the situation based on the universe created by the author before this situation is realistic.
Without knowing how the story unfolds now, each theory only confirms my fears, makes me need a pact of disbelief even more with the story and if it becomes linear change, the situations where I could not believe in what is told or what the characters feel. And if, on top of that, this is a change just to facilitate SG's narrative, then it's worse for me, SG is Ocean's workhorse and what puts the plate on the table and I defend that he has SG as a priority, but it hurts my perception of WIAB that SG is the narrative engine, that WIAB's story is just the excuse for the players who don't know it, to go check SG.



You promised me that SG was not going to spoil WIAB!!!! that with the difference of chapters Ocean could keep the mysteries until WIAB was finished....
I feel betrayed

I am still hopeful, I think the best outcome is for Ocean to do something he can sustain. We don't know what caused Helen to be silent, we don't know anything about Asavera, Krayt or the mysterious organisation. I'd say that only our expectations have been hurt. The story is still superior to SG, and might surprise that it is superior than if he just made an incest AVN with a side dish of crime. It seems to me that there is more potential narrative wish to drive the plot, my mind is now wondering who Willi's parent are, why he and Leia were raised with Katie instead, and whether he actually knows, or whether Emilio has told Leia she's not a Zane, and Emilio's the true villian of both stories!

Okay, a little overboard, but I see steps forward. Next release will be the telling of whether Ocean has moved it forward or just overthought things.

DNA matters, but not when the fertilized egg begins to divide. The genes are not yet activated, but the proliferating cells somehow already know who will be the skin and who will be the liver. Although after division they are identical.

I agree, it will be different. The weight and importance of different acts will have different consequences. The story will need to go in the new direction whole heartedly. The question isn't one of change, but whether the change will be half hearted, or deeply integrated. If it's done well, does it matter that it's different? The only thing we lose is our expectations ...if it's done well. If it's just a fancier word for landlady, then it's a meaningless change. I can see a lot of ways to keep the story consistent in quality with the change, even if it goes in a different direction than "prodigal returns and fucks his whole family, except his dad who dies in a strange gardening accident".

I understand that the issues of taboo are changed a lot from people's epectations, but currently there's nothing in the game the is really taboo, maybe one massage that is creepy 2019 AVN trope style. It's certainly in an easier place to do this change. I guess the thing is simply waiting to see if the story content feels authentic when it's released. At least in this case we won't really know what was discarded or what parts we missed like SG.
