It is not the same, Ocean wanted it to be pegi 16 unrestricted, WIAB is 18+ and they only have to verify that it works and that there are no underage or non-consensual scenes.
I believe the choices could be cut down by half without affecting much. But I am not so sure about the fully kinetic novel. Mechanics for MC/Miru and MC/Katie have already been introduced. Ocean can avoid introducing more for other characters, but the ones for those 2 need to remain. For Miru it seems to be solo/sharing/pstar/breakup. For Katie love/rival. Idk how they actually work, but they are there. The outcomes for the rest of the girls can even be grouped. Not 1 group(there is to many). Partitioned in 3 maybe.

Clearly it was a joke, although a kinetic would be easier to develop, since it only needs to advance the canon story, WIAB has many variants already established that depend on decisions. I mean, the other way it should be a harem manga where each waifu has her arc and at the end the MC stays with the FMC, that is no longer possible for WIAB, well n actually it would no longer be possible for the current WIAB audience actually.

Investments are risky business. You should hedge open positions in WiAB and SG with Steam futures, and I would also advise you to diversify your portfolio with other assets from the AVN sector.

WIAB S1 is 8 chapters. The Steam release is early access with 4 chapters.
