I have to make serious efforts to make sure that at least my grandchildren turn 18 by the beginning of the early access of the second season.
If 1/5 USD per month is enough of a financial commitment to classify as an investment, you should not. Buy on steam once its out.

IDK what you lot are whining about. WIAB is essentially on a back burner, is funded by a half-dead SS page and is made as a side project.

Hello,
I did what I could and send the game to my own testers. I gave them 24-48 hours to check for game-breaking bugs.
If nothing is found, I'll send the game for evaluation to Steam and GOG in the next 24 to 48 hours.
This isn't the final change log, but it gives you an idea of what to expect. Bibi changes are possible.
The update is about 250 lines and images larger than the entire game before. (CH1 to CH3).
There are a bunch of smaller changes I will add to the final changelog.
Aight... Potential release date.
Steam will take 1 to 2 weeks to evaluate the game. (If there are no serious complains.) GOG is usually a bit faster.
After I get the green light, it will take another 14 days before it's released. Those 14 days are extremely important.
This is the time the game gets pushed to "Upcoming Steam releases".
My guess: June 15th to 21th
Everyone who's been following the game knows that a lot depends on the Steam/GOG release.
To keep myself from writing a novel about it.
With this update, I went far over WiAB's budget for 3D assets, licenses, etc., and if it were up to me, I'd have no problem doing that again.
However, real life would like to have a word, and 2024 showed me there is no such thing as security. I believe it will work out this time, but I can't risk it again.
But let's be optimistic!
I'll make smaller update posts on Discord, and will make another post here as soon as I got a definite release date.

You have to be very naive to believe that June 15th to 21st is the expected date lol, my god it seems you don't know Ocean and its excuses that Steam refused this and that.
There is absolutely no reason to lie about steam refusing anything once game version is already submitted. It's not like there is any pressure to fit a deadline. If Ocean wanted, he could've just delayed release by a year and nothing would've changed. It's not like WIAB is making any real money as is.
It's not SG, WIAB can remain in production for the next ten years and nothing of value will be lost.
Fingers crossed that at least half of those 4600 images feature Miru bending over for some random guys.

Having said that, Ocean really has nobody to blame but themselves about all this negativity.
I don't think he cares. SG made a bank, and brings decent amount of money monthly. WIAB doesn't even pay for itself as it is, and only because patreon nuking its page.
Negativity clearly doesn't influence sales, so who cares?
Ocean might be making an adequate living out of SG but making bank has gotta be right up there with "Earth is flat". Need we go over the cost of living in Germany yet again?
