I haven't seen anything more than the merest hints of anything. They have a rule not to discuss that subject. I think Ocean's intentionally wanting us to get hit by whatever he decided to do, like we're playing blind, for the first time.

Honestly, that's better than the cynicism and calluses we've grown while waiting. It'll be good to have surprises that hit like a ton of bricks.

yeah im from germany bro, that doesnt work for me (not to mention that avns on steam suck haaaaaaard anyway with only the full chapters ever being updated if ocean does it like most devs)

Now im not sure anymore Is it there already? The link isnt working for me and wiab is not in the shop either, but SG is there Now it looks to me like it wont be on GOG either as its 18+ and season 1 of SG maybe got approved for 16+ on GOG unlike on steam?

I don't think there's anything else I can see that ties you to a location - I don't use a credit card to pay. Once you've got it in your library, you can download the installer anyway.

Or, a friend can gift WiaB to your account perhaps.

Oh, you figured it out by yourself.
With a VPN/Proxy you can see 18+ content there, at least the last time I has tried this stuff out. But if you are about to sell something via VPN is knowledge beyond me.

But to be honest, what is the difference between the data SS wants to the other sites? Compared to GoG, Steam or even Patreon? You can argue that Steam/GoG/Patreon accepts paypal, but that's it.

SS works even with a debit card, that's how I use it. At the end of the day you have to pick your poison, You are still trading money for a service, so there's no way around giving away some of sour personal information. And to be honest, I think SS is more capable to manage/protect my data than that warmongering assholes that are now elected as a gov...

And as a little plus, I just found out now that SS is supporting 2FA via OTP Auth app or a passkey, GoG has don it finally also, but only 2FA OTP via auth app but no passkey.
