nah, these are things that maybe by taking it for granted (hey! that has sex! the rest is adult too) we forget that it can be a cause for complaint.

I get that, but the Witcher had incest (1) and suicide (3), and those don't have trigger warnings trigger warnings. I guess because AAA games pay for their 18+ :unsure: Anyway, I won't go there,I can wait. But it feels a lot mor strict than I'd expect.

Because with Steam, it reaches tens of thousands of people around the world who are willing to pay for the content. Maybe even hundreds of thousands. Steam also takes care of the proper processing and taxation of international sales, handling complaints and returns and other sales-related bullshit, making it as easy as possible for the creator and the players.

While barely anyone tosses a coin on Itch or whatever other shitholes you mentioned.

KoFi completely distances itself from everything other than collecting their cut for using the platform. They simply redirect you and
the creator to a payment processor and what happens next is up to you. The first thing they mention in their ToS is that they are not an intermediary in financial transactions.

And yeah, WiABs on SubscribeStar since its Patreon was taken down. I guess this platform and its results did not impress the dev too much.

We are too far in time to know (or remember if anyone followed the release of The Witcher [original one] on Steam) what it was really like. That the mega AAA bomb called "The Witcher 3" allows CD Project to do as it pleases, I feel that the comparison is at least naive, Bob... we're old enough to use a card like that.

Buy the way guys, even if you don't intend to buy a copy, I think it would be beneficial for the game if you wishlist it. It helps get visibility and everyone claims it helps. I think I'm going to buy it, because I love Miru and Katie and I want to see it succeed. I know Ocean won't ask, so I ask for him. :geek:
