Passion lasts for a limited time. Even though I still praise Ocean's creative level at present, the fact is that his works really take many years to complete ( assuming he will persist until they are completed ), but by then I will probably have lost myself in the trivial matters of life.

But you're looking at it from the wrong perspective. This generation of players who are "five-years-and-no-progress-dont-you-even-try-to-keep-me-here-ima-leaving-now" will go away and the fresh blood from Steam will replace them. So, for the dev, losing a part of the audience due to the slow development is not a big problem. As well as for that part of the fanbase that is not fixated on the certain game of the certain developer.

And the cooling down of interest in the game... well, every day a new shiny AVN appears, which overshadows yesterday's favorite and keeps you occupied. With a new update, interest will return. At least this is how it works for me.

That makes more sense. Not everyone is gonna handle that well.

I was looking at it from a different angle. If you like Miru, you probably like seeing Miru in cute or sexual artwork. If you don't like Miru, the entire treat set doesn't matter. If you happen to like Miru but don't like seeing her in sexual content...that's possible too but way less likely.

Exactly! To be honest, sometimes I think getting Wiab kicked off Patreon gave Ocean some trauma. Since that time he made some rather strange posts, tries to please Patreon and Steam no matter what and his stories took a nose dive even a kamikaze fighter cannot match in quality.

This "If you´rre sensitive" is much like the stupid and pathetic warning labels infesting books, games, movies and whatever since a couple of years. All due some self-named World savers, who consistently show they have no life and life experience art all.
For example, if you are playing "Hitman" there is a frakton of warning labels about violence, killings, etc., which have to be placed for the seriously braindead. The game makes it clear from the start you are playing a mix of sniper, hired assassin and special operative, what are you expecting?
It is one thing to make a warning label for a work which has some real unusual features or topics, but when a work tells it even in the title already what genre we are in, then warnign labels are a bit superfluous, isn´t it?

well for example if ocean were to release a picture of Leia

and it had pictures of other girls in it or Leia being sexuall with somebody else that wasn't the MC

I would ignore them never look it again and just collect the pictures I like
