They could make an IC patch similar to the one in Summer's Gone where you don't need to replace any script, in this case just replacing certain censored words.

That's always the case if you use an outdated mod on a new release and/or us saves created by a modded game and try to load them with a vanilla game.
I both cases the saves are borked.
The solution?
- Fresh restart without any mods/patches
- Wait until the mod you have played with gets updated. If the mods/patch is abandoned, go to 1
- And no, cross exchange with different saves/mods of any kind won't work
- Drop the game. or move to 1
- Congratulations, you have survived the first release day of a game

That's too bad that he rolled back the incest angle of this game, that was one of the hottest things about it. Won't be supporting this one financially but hope the game is still good for the rest of you who are invested.

.Turned his other vn from cool edgy story too teen angst and now this, I hope it hit's him in his wallet hard. 7 years and still 3 away from just getting back to where we already were. Such a fucking shame, or maybe sham would be the better word. Intriguing story waiting to find out how things are connected to nonsense slop that makes 0 sense.

Honestly hope it fails and he just ends this, cause the change already ruined the game. His other game's change is more fine and down low, this one was a core component of story.

I had forgot about this, it's the other VN that Oceanlab will never finish.
Literally aren't enough years left in his life to finish this or the other one at the pace they are being done, when you factor in that it needs a rework every few years.
