I liked the update so far but I don't know why would u even introduce more characters in the last episode and doesn't even have any closure for the rest of the cast. Like sure those are minor characters and all but at least give a slideshow of where are they now and Evie the date that were promised. Maybe Cheeky gonna add it in the future, maybe not but hopefully
Anyone can decide to give their money to whomever they want after they die. And they were divorced anyway so its very unlikely that he would give it to his ex. In any and all of these games you have to do waaaay more mental gymnastics to fit a landlady and tenants relationship than a long absent son. I've been a landlord and had landlords in my life and never once had any kind of relationship with them beyond getting/paying money and doing maintenance. Similarly, I never gave a shit about the women my dad married after my mom beyond being friendly then losing contact completely after they divorced too.
This is EP 25 for the old version. I'm not playing the entire game again for a single episode. Is there any word from CheekyGimp about the continuation of season 1 for the missing episodes or a season 2?
You can use the "Start from any episode" command in the menu and start straight from Ep 25 by simply answering to a few questions about choices you made in the previous episodes.
Shame theres no Mega link I understand not everyone like me will or can pay for it.

from now on my Android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like Windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11+), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Methinks CheekyGimp has an exhibitionist fetish. So many scenes in this update were in public settings (spa, beach, restaurant, street, etc.). As a result, I feel like the update lacked intimacy, which is unfortunate for this title IMO.
It's funny I was thinking about this game yesterday. I was thinking how the dev turned it from a good game to shit when they sprung consequences on us (Chad doesn't face consequences) and made us all restart. Which I didn't. I just stopped playing.
Same, I stopped playing it a year ago. If the dev wanted it to be this kind of game, he should have designed it that way sooner.
Had he had them discover the relationships sooner, it could have flowed together, but he basically left it to the end, so there is no other way to finish the game. I don't really have anything against massively branching games, but I do have a problem when 90 percent of the game is something else, and then the last 10 percent springs a bunch of branches to finish the game.
You get the worst of both worlds: very little content for new playthroughs and having to restart the game to see a couple of minutes worth of content for endings.
