I must say, I was thoroughly delighted with Episode 25. All my favourite heroines received a perfect wedding ending! It brought a splendid conclusion to several years of waiting.

You can start at any chapter you want with any combination of relationships you want, apart from the few who won't work together.
This is a feature that is amazing and should be featured in many, many more VNs.
So please stop spreading misinformation, or like it seems in this case, simply posting while having no real clue at all. Sorry, I don't want to be unfriendly, but there is basically no other game of this type that offers this kind of service, apart from I think some of Mr. Dots games.
And making a completely false claim like you have to do another 20+ playthrough if you pick the wrong combination of girls, frankly pisses me off.
Seriously, how come people don't know about the feature to start from any episode. Just pick Episode 24 and choose the combination of girls and relationships you want.
It's insane how bad reading abilities are nowadays and how little people actually LOOK at a game's menus and options, that we have so many people who miss a crucial feature like that one completely.

Odd how so many who have played this game for years and have waited in eager anticipation for the final episode still find it necessary to bitch and moan about it.

That doesn't seem to be what he is saying at all. There is dialogue about bringing her into the harem, not her being IN the harem. I don't think there is any hope for that, without the fantasy complete harem ending that Cheeky said he'd do after the game is finished, with a few other fantasy scenarios.

Honestly, this is just pissing me off. Not only has an actual patron felt the need to share this within hours of release, not even having the decency to give Cheeky a few days to perhaps gain a few more patrons and earn his living, we also have people spreading misinformation, because they are unable to use a game's existing options.
I am all for sharing, after a few days and I don't expect everyone to know everything about a game, but damn it, this is annoying as fuck.
For anyone interested in it, this episode while not absolutely perfect is fantastic, one of the most complete and satisfying game endings I've experienced and that in a game with these many possible love interests. It is massively huge, with so many possible combinations and scenarios covered that it is nothing short of astonishing.
The dev team has accomplished something extraordinary here, and they and the game deserve way more attention than they get.
I've played hundreds of this type of games over the years and while there are many with a similar level of writing and storytelling, rarely does one of those actually reach the end of the story and gives a satisfying ending, nor do many keep on with these many options and choices covered until the end.

I keep previous versions myself until the new version's patch is updated for every AVN I have (or for something that got trashed and reworked by a dev for Patreon/Steam reasons, happens too often). I still have ch 24, but it's prob way too big for an attachment. Google can prob find it anyway.

I'm just finishing the Jenna/Jolina one I had from 24 and calling it quits. Fucking just friends and not relatives does little for me and makes me think I have ADHD (seems long even when ctrl+skipping most of it). Aside from that, figure it out, you may not believe it now but you will not die if you have to load previous choices to see the other naked 3D models fucking.
And just the fact it's one that was actually finished, rather than endlessly milked or abandoned...

Calling the ending satisfying is a stretch. All the weddings are the same, you can only have a wedding ceremony with one character even in throuple routes where it would make sense to have more than one, even if in the legal sense there is only one wife, the devs introduced new characters (that look better than the LI's) instead of bringing back old ones. Sure it's a completed game, but it was neither "complete" nor "satisfying"
