On Steam nothing is free (not being sarcastic) That's the reason why dev's with their VN's on there aren't allowed by Steam's TOS to make free releases of their games

We are a waiting the release to learn the price on this release. about 2 hours now
there are several games on steam that are free but this will not be one of them if I understand correctly.
however the demo was free when released for advertisement of the coming release of season 1
