Yeah I was mostly saying that because in the future it would be a pain to guess which choices are crucial and which aren't.
If you don't plan to show relationship point I think it might be good to give a little bit of leeway on the variable so that it doesn't hinge on you getting all the right note but on you getting the overall feel.
I think you were pretty good at "recycling" your render which I found pretty interesting.
I'm trying to avoid having a "perfect path" approach, where you only get a particular outcome if you picked the correct response at every single instance. The stats will determine outcomes, but won't be a perfect or bust approach, e.g. if the max score for a particular attirbute at a branching point is 30 and min is 20 - Would aim to have a if >= 27, get max response, if 24-30, middle response, if <24, bad response, etc.... Otherwise, it just becomes a grind to get every perfect answer and I'd prefer if the choices are more natural with tolerance for not picking the best response every single time. Also, there'll be some responses where to increase one stat, you may have to decrease a different stat, so won't be possible to max out every stat, so that's another reason why I'm avoiding the "perfection" setup.
