While this isn't a problem for patreons as we offer several compressed versions, we do plan on converting to smaller images (probably webm) for EP20 hopefully. Making the game smaller as a result, but the same quality.

So why does the download links say EP19 Beta? Do I download that and then apply the EP19 only patch?

I don't see why it can't work with both since you simply need to drag and drop the game folder from the patch to the previous version.

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Let me say so. When a New Version arrive i delete the old version . I only keep the savegames. So i downloaded the Episode 19 Beta and the Episode 19 Patch. I copied the game folder from the Patch to the Beta Folder and it worked

I think some people see the word patch and get intimidated, kinda like how people (I'm gonna date myself a bit) used to get intimidated about rooting/jailbreaking their phones or installing custom firmware on their game consoles, the steps are pretty much easy enough a child could do it but things involving tech seem to make some people leery.

Edit: Onto the game, I don't think the week between the beta and the full version has ever seemed to take so long, I'm hyped!

Maybe you should think about that not everyone use a PC on a daylie Base and thats the reason why some People dont know how to do something like apply a Patch ^^
