No. The Season 1 for Steam is Episodes 1-10 of the original game remastered, plus some added scenes.

To be clear, they're called episodes in the original game. They're called chapters in the Steam remaster. The reason for changing the terminology was to make it less confusingPretty sure it's through chapter 10, up to chapter 11.
due to the changes in the Steam remaster where scenes were re-ordered and new scened were added. Episodes 1-10 of the original game are reorganized into chapters 1-6 of the Season 1 release for Steam.

It comes down to Genetics. For instance, Katie might have Monica's genes while Jenna might have her fathers genes. Even thou they look different there still biological sisters by birth.
