It's far more realistic then 99% of the shit that's made in this genre. What's unrealistic is three women with no sharing tendancies by default (you have to make sure that happens) all wanting to fuck you (and each other)...that's pure fantasy

Seriously, this isn't a porn game. It's a story-driven game that also has pornographic scenes.

Its story-driven. I'd even say the characters are frequently pretty well-written.

But when a fairly unremarkable MC can show up fresh somewhere and successfully hook up with 15 different girls within a couple weeks...its a porn game.

I think the point is that even if (as you suggest) this game is more realistic than most its still a wildly irrational scenario. It does not follow the rules of our world...and I think we generally prefer it that way. Our world sucks.

For the record, the build up of the story/characters and the challenge of the game format are compelling to me.

Because it has updated graphics and made the story easier for them. It's still more or less the samish game with some minor changes here and there...and yes it will eventually come to what the original is around November.

Real Quickly:

1. Mon/Zarah are exclusive to each other.
2. Katie/Debbie/Lily exclusive to each other and even then, Katie needs a whole boat load of convincing and still isn't terribly happy about it. Neither is Lily for that matter either and only does...only...purely for you.
3. Wanda/Angel, again like Mon/Zarah....exclusive to each other. They are NOT happy to share...not in the fucking least....they will accept each other at best if you don't fuck it up (and go ahead...fuck it up...see how happy they really are about sharing you).
4. Jolina.....exclusive to Jenna.
5. Jenna...the only single LI that is most at ease with sharing you.

No other LI will.....none. Even with the sharing girls, you are actually cheating on them until they find out/accept it. Even the ones you're cheating on (and yes, you are cheating on them) that have not discovered about each other until Ep 23....will not be happy going into the last episode.

Enough with this fucking bullshit idealogy that they are ALL happy with sharing (and thus it should be a harem), because they are not.

Imma be a bit cautious with my wording here... I recall there being some talk about a "partial harem" ending which, in essence involved a general acceptance of Jenna as part of the Katie, Debbie, Lilly group. I also recall some talk about others (depending on who MC allows to stay at the beach house) being "tolerated" by one another. Now, what I am sure of is that CG never gave a definitive answer but was considering possibilities. So, the safe bet is to approach it as you say, "monogamy" is the rule, polygamy is the exception, in this story. All in all it's wait and see for the final chapter...

Jolina and Bella have some history as well as being in cahoots for the inheritance. In the first iteration of the story I didn't believe half of what they said were their reasons for their behavior and ran them on down the road. Having gotten that far in the story makes it difficult for me to even give either of them the time of day in subsequent play throughs. 'Course, that's just me.

That's my biggest issue with the out of nowhere "Let's remaster it for steam" decision.

That decision might have seemed "out of nowhere" for you but, I doubt it was that way for the dev. They gotta make a living, man. Overall this rework will have encompassed less than 6 months since the release of chapter 24 if they keep to the announced schedule. That seems pretty efficient to me and it didn't really come as a surprise since they talked about the possibility quite a lot before making a final decision.

Yeah, and therein lies the reason for my caution. I almost didn't even say anything about it at all. In most cases (this one included) my information is 3rd, 4th, 5th hand since it all comes from this thread. Just like the reply you just made. Do you really play VN's? Are they really a game? They are more like the old Choose Your Own Adventure/Fantasy Play books, of which I have a large collection which I still read to this day. Grailquest...Lone Wolf...loved them. Again, just an extension of those for a different market and 'AVNs' have sex scenes in them? I don't know about you, but I stopped jerking off to pictures and shitty animated stuff over 40 years ago....maybe they still get you off, I dunno, you do you I guess but again, not why I like VN's.

I also love the art. I've been using Daz/Poser myself for over 20 years....like Comics > VN's....Daz is just an extension of pinup and fantasy art from yesteryear (I still love Vellajo, Royo, Giger and Francis work etc) , which I've also had an interest in for a long ass time. I understand the work, effort, time and skill involved in making good renders...so I appreciate the medium. There are a lot of damn good story-tellers around the VN world. are they good writers also? Most are not no, but they have the story...and this is a perfect medium for them to tell said story that would perhaps not work elsewhere.

So play better 'games'? As said before, like Hollywood, most 'games' out in the last ten plus years are fucking recycled garbage for the idiot masses with no attention spans (much like every itteration of later D%D editions). *shrugs*....obviously I read these for very different reasons to many other people and would suspect, am also older than the majority of people who like this genre medium too.


Disclaimer: That's not to say I don't play some AVN's purely to see how ridiculous and depraved some of the scenes are. They are fun things to read/watch but those are very much the exception.

I could not agree more with was being said. When I started to play AVN's I stopped cold turkey playing regular games for about 6 months till I picked them up again. I still enjoy them but it's rare for me to find one now days where I just want to keep playing and find out what happens next. But with AVN's ive had moments like alot more , even ones that aren't good.

But I will say this is one of the better ones where I just couldn't want to see what comes next not because the story is amazing. But all the characters are well crafted even the ones I dont like that I really enjoy spending time with most of them. Then add all the replayability and branching this game offers. So when this game finally ends it's gonna be a sad day that there is no more as I really enjoy the interactions with the characters in this game alot more than most out there.

not my ranking of the girls but just how much I enjoyed spending time with them : I say I like interactions with Wanda the most followed by Jenna , Katie , Bella , Debbie not sure about the rest but those ones stood out to be the most
