Alex and Sarah can talk about John & Jessica & Eric without bringing race into it. I understand your fears well enough, but implying it can only lead to one thing is also kinda narrow-minded. They are supposed to talk about the concept of swinging/sharing itself, not the race of the people involved. At least, that would be the logical way to go about it, but Fable does have the chance to fumble it your way still.
Respectfully, disagree. The way this early scene is shot is inherently narrow, and plays to a very specific fetish.
While I wouldn't try and debate you on the nuance of proper ntr concepts and setups, I'd ask you do the same for swinging and sharing for me. A couple's conversation stemming from that scene woudl start the whole talk on an acidic note, and
not only because erik is a black charicature. It's mainly the creative decisions in how it's shot; him and Jessica starting without husband, the obvious dick size element, etc.
But it's not just me that thinks this - very clearly as fable introduced rachel and james as characters he understands the need for a more neutral swinger/sharing option without the heavy handed cuck overtones. So I'd say a conversation after these gym meetups would be much more open ended.
For example, they talk to each other how they felt about Rachel and James flirting with each of them, then maybe at that juncture when Alex suggests she takes swim lessons from Erik instead it routes them over to a bbc cuck path.
