Since we are supposedly almost at the climax of the game but is chapter 1 a self contained story/game or will it be an open end that leads to chapter 2 with the same characters or has chapter 2 a new cast?

Chapter 2 is basically what the original idea was gonna be for Whispers of the Dark Elf, chapter 2 is gonna be about Lire (Aldos and Sephira's daughter) grown up and married to Aldos's apprentice i believe, as well as Kora who'll be married to Aldos's son, the original plan was about Lire slowly becoming corrupted by Kora who would go around cheating on her husband and coercing Lire to do corrupt lewd stuff, hence the name Whispers of the Dark Elf, though it's likely he'll change a some stuff around since this was the original idea for chapter 1, but it's now chapter 2 and the chapter 1 we have rn is the prequel
As for the current cast, no clue, it's likely they'll make appearances here and there and some cameos but won't be the focus anymore
All in all, the entire bloodline is gonna get fucked over

You can find some of his earlier ideas and cgs on his Pixiv with grown up Lire and Kora, it's likely some of the events will be improved and revamped but it'll give a general idea on what to expect ig

So chapter 1 is self contained (basically) and chapter 2 plays some years in the future with the kids from the characters of chapter 1.
Maybe with maybe some cameos or mention of the characters of chapter 1.

At least this was the original plan. Did I get that right?

Then again what is "The Corruption of the Elven Wives"? Just a spin off?

Well I am all for it but I guess particular in this game it would be difficult to pull of because the story continues in chapter 2. It would be a huge hassle to incorporate kids from the previous chapter I guess.

But hey, maybe we get the option at least for a non canon scenario.

Well I am all for it but I guess particular in this game it would be difficult to pull of because the story continues in chapter 2. It would be a huge hassle to incorporate kids from the previous chapter I guess.

Hey since Ch.2 is coming, I had a question. We know Ch.1 was pretty much a linear story of Aldos getting shit on, Sephira becoming Daisy and Glavius getting his W. But Ch.2 follows Lire. Now my question is simple. I swear I remember reading somewhere that Ch.2 would be more "open" in the sense that you'd get to choose whether she gives in to Kora and ends up walking in Seph's footsteps or manages to avoid NTRing her guy. Am I delusional or was that ever actually mentioned?

changed my pc and lost all my progress. problem is I'm not sure where I left off so I don't even know what save should I be looking for... and I don't think I have the patience to start all over again. I think I was around the part where I rescued the shopkeeper or a little bit after that. It's been a while, but I really like this game. Any suggestions please?

someone explain to me part 1.7, where did Sephira go, is Daisy Sephira or not? are they 2 separate people or one person with different personality, and why is Daisy here
