I've already automated the negotiation part, as far as the mod allows, but it's still too "clicky". The gas station part can easily be turned into a single "Work at the gas station" action with the options "For an hour", "For two hours" etc. or at least can be fully automated so that we wouldn't have to deal with every single customer.
I promise I take a look at it, but I can't promise if I do it. Because is it really easy to do?

Calculating total earnings, willpower spend, how many rimjobs appear, how many of those are clients wo give sveta more money at the end, how many take the condom off and everything else is very easily done ;) without even taking all the possibilities and ways into account the player has to influence the price. You somehow have to know the players decision for every action in every situation, know how much willpower will be spend to check if Sveta has enough willpower to even take the action.

So, no it's probably not easy if you want to keep the complexity. But I havent really thought about it yet. If you dumb it down a lot, it's doable.

What I can promise is an option to reduce the amount of clicks a bit. Every sex scene has between 1 and 3 videos depending on the stamina of the client. If I can't figure out a fully automatic mode or don't want to dumb it down, I will add an option to set it to be always 1 to remove more clicks.

I've seen the code related to "a murder", but I have no idea how you start that story line, and I don't want to browse through the code to learn about it, which would kill the surprise. However, I do notice that there are some stuff in the mod that aren't well communicated to the player. I hope the mod won't turn into a cryptic mess.
A lot of stuff don't need to be communicated. Take the murder scene, it will happen at some point and can't be avoided if you have unlocked the prostitution in pavlovsk. It will take some players more/less time to reach it, but they can't miss it if they work in pavlovsk. Many events are like this. Most stuff can be triggered by simply playing the game.

Imho the only stuff that needs to be explained is in the FAQ which I will add to the game in the next version.

I also have moved a few timers earlier and removed some conditions for the next version to speed up the progression and make it easier to trigger stuff. For example currently you can only start the murder plot on weekends. In the next version it can trigger any day of the week. So just working will trigger it.

Also it's not my goal that you can see all scenes. It should depend on what kind of Sveta you're playing. If you play a good girl that only works a minimum, doesn't take drugs and avoids everyone from the gang. Of course you shouldn't be able to trigger all content if you play like this. Some content depends on Sveta going deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole. But if you do that, most content is unavoidable.

is there a way to scale the pay out of special events like meeting henri and prison and etc. cause im positive i can out earn at gas station for one entire shift majority of times.
also, im not quiet sure but the debt interest add up on the debt? cause it seems like it doesnt.

I checked the code and don't see anything wrong with it. The interest is added if you visit Georgiy, but if your loyalty is very high the interest is very low. I put it on my things to check before I release the next version.

About the special events. No and it's often to lessen my workload. Adding negotiations to every scene takes time and for some characters like Iosif it doesn't make sense. And how much you earn at the gas station depends on how you play. So if you block STDs and fuck around without condoms for example you can earn much more.

For me it's always a balancing act between giving the player more options and how much content gets written.

Let me start with the last paragraph, which IMO might be a bit problematic. It is certainly preferable to provide different content for different types of characters, however, if all potential paths and their content aren't documented, or at least hinted, a player who always plays a certain type of Sveta will never realize that the mod offers more content for other play styles.

What really need to be communicated to the player are the requirements to the gateway events, which I find lacking in the mod. And you only realize that there's something not quite right about the MC's progression, when something you recall happening in a previous playthrough has never happened in the new one because of some cryptic requirements aren't met. Let me give you a real example from my current playthrough. If the MC already has a pubic tattoo or a tongue piercing, you will miss out on some relatively high impact content with Iosif and Volya. As far as I know, these characters never mention that you already have a tattoo and/or a piercing anywhere in the mod, so you'll never realize what is wrong with the mod unless you look at the code. This is a problem which could have been remedied by adding a few lines of code. In other words, whenever you introduce a specific requirement for a gateway event, just make sure to communicate that to the player.

Besides the requirements there's one other issue, consequences of actions, which are calculated in the mod internally and are never communicated to the player and yet, certain content are only unlocked by them. How can increase e.g. 'loyalty' to unlock certain content, if I don't know what action or choice increases it? Either purely guess work or you have to look at the code. And honestly I feel like I have to play the game while having the code open in the editor, just in case, which is a sign of cryptic content.

I'll add a warning to deleting the foto they send you, add a small dialogue to one of Volyas talks about the tongue piercing and Iosif about a tattoo. Thanks, good ideas. I'll also add it to the faq as things to avoid to see all the content.

I have also added an option to reduce the amount of vids shown per sex scene at the gas station from 1-3 to 1 and I also added a second option to skip the end scene where you leave the car. Both options together reduce the amount of clicks by about 3-4 for every client.

Sorry, but that's hyperbole. You don't have to have the code open to play my mod. That's ridiculous. You can't avoid most events if you work and regularly talk to the characters that are available to talk to (Volya, Shura, Sacha). If you do that, you'll see at least 90% (probably more) of all non-punishment content. If you misbehave regularly, you will see 100% of all punishment content. And sorry i won't add stat increases like "Loyalty +3" to actions or the scenes. That kills the immersion. And I don't even know why that would be necessary. If you work normally, loyalty will go up every week.

Let's just agree to disagree. We are both different types of players. You want to see every scene, know everything. I personally hate that. I play glife for example with only the icons and never look at the attributes or other stats. I just want to play a story and not minmax every playthrough.

If you can't pay the lump sum, you get interest on top of the missing amount added to your debt and if you borrow money you also get interest on top of it. Every other time your debt increases there is no interest, but there is a weekly interest on all your debt.

I find it a bit strange that having sex for "free weed" with Sasha, who is the only truly friendly character to Sveta, reduces the 'respect' value, which presumably indicates how "dignified" she is, in hers and others' eyes, whereas hours of prostitution at the gas station and having all sorts of sex with random strangers for money do no such thing. If anything, it should be the other way around.

Respect is not svetas self-respect, but how the gang thinks about you. She has to work at the gas station, that's her job the Belys force her to do. That's why that has no impact on respect. If you have sex for money or drugs on your own which you don't have to do and a gang member knows about it, it lowers the respect they have for you. They will think that you're a slut. Same is true for being submissive. Showing weakness typically increases loyalty but lowers respect. They think you are weak which means they don't expect you to betray them.

One could argue that respect should be changed into two variables one for submissiveness and one for respect, but to be honest I want to write stories that are for me fun to write and hopefully interesting to play and read. This my biggest priority. I don't want to track a gazillion stats and variables. I always try to limit it to as few as possible and track them in the background. Stats are imho only a distraction.

Edit: Would it be helpful for you if I add stat bars like the main game has for acceptance, loyalty and respect?

Edit 2: but you are right about Sacha. The respect decrease makes no sense, since Sacha wouldn't tell anybody. You may lose his respect, but not that of the gang. Thanks :)

If you add bars for that, it is as if adding the +3 loyalty you already mentioned. One you know which action does what, it is easy to push the bars in the desired direction

My idea was to have them off by default and you would have to activate them through the cheatmenu if you care about minmaxing stats. But yeah your right it would be basically the same thing. Only difference is the amount of time it would take to implement. Stat bars should be easy, but adding stat increases to every action would be so annoying that I would never do it. So stat bars could be a compromise.

I always try to accommodate different types of players and take every suggestion/wish for content, ui/ux seriously.

Just occured to me that what you have in mind for "respect" and "loyalty" is basically how the gang sees her and NOT what she thinks of herself, I think I might have misunderstood their function.

Sasha is not a random gang member though, he's not just friendly, but clearly cares for her and I don't think he can tell anyone that he's giving away freebies in return for getting a blowjob from the MC.

You could also indicate what action does what. Such as:

I've already given you an example from my current playthrough for why I needed to look at the code. You don't provide enough information to follow through the content. Sure, I can play it without looking at the code but when something that is supposed to happen isn't happening, how else can one find out what is wrong with the mod unless they look at the code? And I've encountered quite a few of such situations in a single playthrough, despite the fact I've already played an earlier version, which is what helped me realize something is wrong in the current playthrough.

If this was a fully finished mod I would agree with you, however, we're basically play-testing your mod as you're developing it. If you want us to help you find the bugs and other issues with it, you must realize that we need to be able to see everything.

I'm of two minds about knowing what certain actions will do. On one hand, there is some interest in exploring and seeing for yourself. On the other, I kinda want to know if I'm chasing after a dead end. For example, if I star in a porn film, will there be any impact? Will certain characters opinion go up, and will others get upset because they think of it as working on the side? If I have really good loyalty for a while, is there the option to become one of the higher class escort types who earn a lot more, but only get a few per week and have certain dress/etiquette requirements?

Stuff like that - I don't know the limits of the mod, so I don't know if repeating stuff over and over gets me anywhere or not. The way I'm playing it now is to do more than the minimum and try to find out what information I can while remaining reasonably safe, so I've talked to the guy at the gas station several times, I've dabbled in drugs but not enough to get addicted, I keep looking in the Pav clinic to see if I can look at the doctor's records, etc.

Uhm ... there is a huge misunderstanding. You're not here to test my mod :D ... I playtest everything, before I release a new version. If you find bugs I missed, great that's awesome. But you aren't beta testers. I release a version for you to play it not test it.

You should play the mod to have fun not worry about helping me.

Of course not. That's why the three stats acceptance, loyalty and respect are hidden. Acceptance is used to determine willpower cost for prostitution, loyalty is only for Georgiy to determine stuff like how much interest you pay, how much money you can borrow, how big your share of your earnings is. Respect is only used for a few descriptions. It's completely unnecessary to worry about them. They are low impact stats, if they were really really important I would give you more information about them. And if it's semi-important you have text that gives you some feedback. Like willpower cost at the gas station or Georgiy will tell you how loyal you are.

To answer your question Georgiy demands more money, when you are a famous model or pornstar.

Most of the players om tfgssite were with me from the beginning, so it wasn't really necessary to write a walkthrough, because reading the changelog would have been enough for a huge majority of players. That's a bit different here. Most never played an earlier version and a walkthrough is probably necessary. I will write one for 0.37. If you read it then, you will probably realize that it's pretty easy to trigger nearly all content. But I hope this will clear up any problems and gives players the ability to check if there's still content left to find.

You can find the installation instructions in the op. If you encounter a problem, please ask as specific question. Bestiality unlocks late in the mod and the FAQ explains how.

If I don't know what the problem is, I don't know how to help you.

Any plans to incorporate the already existing city prostitution into your mod for the "second chapter"? Wouldn't make much sense to go and work in Pavlovsk if Sveta lives in the city, which should offer more customers compared to Pavlovsk as well. Perhaps the street work can be extended to cover the city areas? And perhaps her "branding" can prevent her from getting arrested by the cops.

By the way, I don't know if I'm missing something, but the street work in Pavlovsk seems like a waste of time. It has too many restrictions on it, the number of clients she can get, the time it takes to find a client (or not be able to find one at all) and some additional arbitrary limitations. It's next to impossible to put together the money Georgy wants plus to cover her daily expenses just by doing street work, even if Sveta works every single day. It's especially hard with low fame. When the gas station work offers much more money (about 6-9K a day) and much less restrictions (seems like there's no luck involved with it either), why would she even bother working in Pavlovsk? She literally wastes a whole day for 2-3 clients at best, and for only 2-3K at most and only if she was lucky on that day. Only with luck and super high fame she might be able to earn about the same amount as the gas station work, but in order to do that she has to raise her prostitution fame in Pavlovks, but it doesn't make any sense to do that by committing to street work in Pavlovsk as there are more reliable and quicker ways, such as having sex with customers while washing cars.

Also, not really interested in that kind of content myself, but taking care of a dog in addition to micromanaging Sveta every single day is really frustrating. I would imagine it would be frustrating for Sveta as well. Perhaps Iosif should have that dog instead. ;)

In pavlovsk live only 15000 people, so the amount of customers you can have is limited obviously. The prostitution in Pavlovsk is for that reason not designed to be as effective as the one at the gas station. It exists to provide something new, something that will disrupt her daily routine if she's outside, something that shows that her live has changed and people start to know her in pavlovsk, to show the consequences of her actions. It's not all about making a lot of cash. Some stuff is there to show the player how Sveta's live is changing. And it gives the player the flexibility to stay in pavlovsk, work and do other stuff. For example you could work the whole Saturday at the gas station while doing normal stuff with your friends and work a few hours a day in pavlovsk. It just gives more flexibility to how you want to play

If the dev team of glife thinks that earning a fuckton of money at a small town gas station is a good decision, it's nothing I can do about it. It makes absolutely no sense.

No I don't intend to incorporate the city prostitution, I also can't change existing events through the mod system. I would have to replace the entire location instead to integrate something like the brand. The mod system comes with giant limitations. And to be honest I don't like how the content is done.

There will be a third prostitution option at some point, but not right now.
