VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Who's the Father? [Ep. 2 v2.14] [mrvision]

So i played Episode 1 and read the story and tried to follow it but at some point it became annoying, the amount of choices you have sometimes are TOO MUCH especially for the one the gave you a code for a extra/bonus thing (WHICH you actually have to message the developer to get?!?!)
The most ANNOYING and TILTING this for me was the the goddamn file was 7.6gb which i wouldn't mind IF THERE WAS SOME GODDMAN SEX IN THE GAME there was 1 sex scene for the milf husband and a few scenes on nudity.
The models where beautiful but wasted in here.
This it not a fucking sex game, its a disgrace you charge for this shit, if i wanted to read so i much i would pick a book

Edit: forgot one thing, if you are charging for walkthrough for E1 atleast with no actual scenes you really should just go work for EA they are the ones that do bulshit like this

Painful experience with this.
The story is really badly written. It's not a language problem though, just juvenile bad writing. The music and sound effects were intrusive and annoying so I quickly disabled them.
There are choices to be made, but they seem to be random questions with no connection to the characters intentions, or the story. Just random "Go left or right" kind of thing where you don't know why you're choosing, and have no reason to pick one option over the other, regardless of what type of character you are playing.
The "Hot milf" character was more frightening than enticing. She appears to be a body-builder strong-woman.
It starts with an annoying and unnecessary tutorial about how to use renpy. Even making you walk through a demonstration.
I never made it to any sex scenes. I went further than I wanted to just out of curiosity of seeing what one would look like. But eventually I couldn't take it anymore. The story was a mess. Like a long rambling teen-age fantasy without any structure, plot, development, or anything interesting.

Wow ... this is a shitshow. The game start is confusing and ugly as fuck.
And why let us name the characters when the game makes fun of it?

First I played Episode 2 because didnt see that there is first part. I tested that, but it is the same problem. I could not play very long, because the game is so boring. First you have that EXTREME long intro with some stupid wall of text tutorials and stuff. Then you have the boring "dialog"? with the MC and his friend I guess. And even that I could not finish. No good pictures - blurry videos (with a 7 GB file?) and pieces of text with no context ... but hey - it has colors and changing font sizes in the text ...

Yeah I know - to much exposition is crap, but instead of the useless "tutorial" and other stuff text the game could need a bit exposition in a clear and understandable fashion. Who are we, where are we, what is going on ... stuff like that.

Maybe for some this might be a fun game, but for me it cant spark any interest in it to endure the poor start. When you dont have a fast connection and/or even worse limited volume. Dont download this game! - for me it was no problem, because the 7GB just took 10min in the background.

I really don't know wtf is going on here. I read the reviews and just wanted to try it myself for shits and giggles and holy hell, they weren't kidding.

Intro takes like an eternity with weird disjointed dialogue that takes forever to go anywhere and still makes no sense whatsoever.

And after the intro, you're pretty much done? I don't know, I started Chapter 2 and it was more of the same but completely different setting only with some sort of Doc Brown style mad scientist and WTF IS EVEN GOING ON???

I gave up shortly after this weird-ass, disjointed beginning of Chapter 2 so maybe I missed some content but seeing how short Chapter 1 was, I don't expect Chapter 2 to have any sexual content either

This is supposed to be an erotic adult VN right? Not some drug-trippy modern art style prank, right?

I'm really at a loss for words... At any rate, I think this "game" is at least very deserving of my first ever 1-star rating. Good grief.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't even make it through what I can only assume to be the intro to the story.

The writing is... um... unique... to put it nicely. There is absolutely no hook into the story. I couldn't tell what was going on or why. And I simply just quit. Obviously it is trying for a Back to the Future esc theme for the story hook. But nothing about it made me care.

Which then makes me think that the entire game is going to be like this and so there is no reason for me to waste my time with a game that I'm going to have to slog through. Because if that is the case then there is no reason for me to pay attention to a story I don't care about, so it would just be me clicking and looking at pictures just to say I've played it, but why would I even bother wanting to say that?

Hell! even before the intro started I was disinterested by how many info/tutorial screens there were and how many times I saw the developer's patreon before even getting to the main menu.

Dear Developer and anyone else developing VN games,
Allow me to make this abundantly clear. 99.9% of people who play Ren'py games or VNs for that matter already know how they work. And for that 0.1% who are just starting, it isn't hard at all to figure out. Secondly and more importantly, the more you shove your patreon in our faces the more we feel like it's just a shitty cash grab and it pisses us off. So guess what, we don't want to put our money into supporting a game that pisses us off before we reach the main menu. We know that these games can be really expensive to make. We know they take a long time to make. If you take the time and put in the effort to make a really good game then you will be rewarded with our money. But that only comes when you are making the game to tell a good story because you have a good story to tell. If you are making the game just to make money it will show and you won't make any. I don't want to come off as harsh or being mean, that is not my intent I just want to get my point across.

So far this game has not shown me any promise what so ever, so much to the point I can't make it past the intro simply because I don't care about it's story, there is nothing to make me care about it's story. Your best bet is to go back and play some of the games that people see as the greats. See what they did and how you might be able to make your own better.

Mr. Vision, I wish you the best of luck. I'm sure that there are plenty of people who will enjoy your game. However I am sad to say that I will not be one of them.

The story is unintelligable. The writing is pre-elementary level. The renders look grainy and the animation looks choppy and sometimes unnervingly unnatural. And even though the models used are pretty hot, the way they are presented (f.ex. extreme close-up of the eyes) makes them look awful.

The barrage of meaningless choices gets annoying as hell and the points are meaningless without a way to check stats.

The whole presentation is unprofessional.

I'm not trying to be mean, but this is one of the worst "games" I've seen on this site and it lowers the bar considerably.

I'm so torn on this. On one hand, so many of the character designs are fantastic (I'm a sucker for super-toned girls, and damn near all of them at least have abs) - the mom is particularly stunning.

On the other, attempting to follow along with the text is literally headache inducing. Everything, both dialogue and narration, are not only grammatical messes but are also incredibly disjointed - narration never gives you enough info (and not in a mystery-novel sense, but just a "what is this even supposed to be telling me" sense) and dialogue is a clusterfuck of characters interrupting each other and themselves.

The only reason I'm giving it a second star are those character designs, and the fact that from what little I've been able to make sense of through the migraines, the actual plot does seem decent - if only it weren't delivered so atrociously.

Please, mrvision, find yourself a (very patient) editor. There's potential here, but it's entirely wasted in its current form.

This thing is an incoherent mess. Seriously, what is even happening? Dialogue is just awful, terrible grammar and conversations. The renders look like they were made on the PC's processor's in-built graphics card, and the models look like they're plastic aliens.

I played many different games in here last 2 years. Many was pure crap, many were decent but this game is in my own top 10. First of all, graphics. Great renders of backgrounds, great models with different clothes and hairdos. Awesome animations which are a nessecity in a great erotic game. The most importent , the story. Very advanced, funny and interesting story with many twists which puts this game in top 10 of the best

I can't possibly describe how bad the writing is.

People keep repeating what they just heard, it's weird. I can't tell you what anyone's personality is like because they are all identical.

2 episodes in and nothing is fleshed out, there is no premise, no interesting interactions between characters and no sensible plot focus.

It's a patchwork of events sewn together to make a quilt of nonsense that somsone used to wipe their arse on leaving a shit smear which is the choice on whether to peek or not that leads to pointless game over.

If I gave this more than a 1 i'd be doing a disservice to every single dev that's ever tried to put together something coherent for their playerbase.

You would have to be tripping balls on LSD for any of this to make a fraction of sense.

It gets 1 star because a couple of the characters look good.

It's also crazy short like blink and you miss it kinda short.

The Story seems finaly to be mentioned as good, to developped and with more extras, would be interesting much more, some graphics are too bad, you must change render settings or graphics card. The text box aren't very used clearly and the sensitiv's text are too much used. But in general, for a first version, this is good

L'histoire pourrait etre mentionnée comme bonne, a développer et avec plus d'extras, pourra interresser plus de monde, certains graphiques sont pauvres en résolution, vous devriez changer les paramètres de rendement ou les cartes graphiques. Les boites textuelles ne sont pas utilisés correctement et les textes décrivant les sensations sont trop souvent utilisés. Mais dans l'ensemble pour une prèmière version c'est bien.

In terms of actual content for the 1st part of the game, there is a lot. This game has multiple story progression options that will effect your relationships with the people you interact with.

Needless to say, the renders of two of the main girls, Vanessa & Kendra are god tier. If fit girls with model faces are your thing you'll love this game.

Another element some will appreciate is the slow burn you have with the girls. Most games seem to throw the girls onto your dick in the first 20 mins, in this game you actually slowly & successfully start seducing the females you live with. Which is honestly more realistic & hotter then having them want your dick for the sake of being the MC in a porn game.

I only have 2 gripes. One is being forced to play as other characters. The whole story arc with the dad seducing the young Thai girl made me cringe but you have to play it or fail the game. I would advice the developer to add a option to skip them or make them shorter in general. The second gripe is that I can tell this game will have lots of NTR & cheating. Please, please make them both completely optional. If someone wants to go down that path through dialogue choices then go for it, but most people do not, I repeat, do NOT want to see Bobbie or some random Chad banging Vanessa or Kendra & not have a choice to avoid that story line.

Overall, I think this game has a ton of potential. Not much more to say until more chapters are released. The game is a solid 8.5/10 so far.

one of the worst written story lines, it's senseless gibberish that is nothing more then filler that a 12 year old could write better. one character ( alex ) poorly done graphics more like a homely girl wearing makeup. poor quality, jerky transition, or nonsensical scene change bounces all over on scene because as text goes on its ramble the scene never varies unless he cuts to some nonsense.

over all poorly written, limited scene, and whats with the install says it a renpy in the icon style and some of the base files but it wants to install and make system change did this on an old outdated lap top and malware bells and whistles going off all over the place during install

The models are not that bad, it lack of immersion and stories are strong in this one. That patreon levels, urgh. Sorry but i expect more. Maybe polish your story and put real contents in your game and get at least 3 stars from me. And man, pls be realistic with your patreon tier levels if u want people to support your project.

has good graphics and the story is sharp cant wait for more the mystery with everyone is good plus a little time travel works that is interesting in building out the world of this story. who is the father? is good question yet makes for an interesting adventure i know i am interested in finding out. Keep it up

The previews look really good, and the renders in game are great mostly as well, particularly Vanessa
However the dialogue is terrible, there's constant flashing screens for no apparant reason. And the font size and color seem to have been put together by a 4 year old. Which sadly makes the game more of a headache than something fun at this point. If the dev can fix the actual gameplay to back up his very good renders this might be worth revisiting but for now, hard pass.

What do you get from these 8 074 967 943 bytes which comes packed in three parts and then you have to unzip yet another file[1].

I tell you what you get.
Huge files which contains more grains than a wheat field. Some back ground colour images are 5000x2812 px for no obvious reason, a main character and his friends who look like they are twelve if you compare to relative sizes of the surrounding females. He naturally wields a .5 meter dick which you look at way too often! I'm not interested!

I gave up on the story after a few minutes and unpacked the content and I had to resize the images to be able to scroll through them as I wanted.
In the end I wasn't impressed, Number of sex scenes: One sex scene! ONE!! We could expect more for those 7.51 GB

I'd rate this 0/5 but it's impossible!

Rating based on Ep.01 Font Fix

Three part download for a relatively first version at this quality level? What in this warrants that file size?!? (Answer so far: Nothing)
The renders aren't bad but they also aren't great and they're a tad generic.
So again, THREE part download?
I couldn't get into this. By 'a tad' generic renders I mean, you've seen 90+% of them before. Even in the middle of a social lock down I don't have this much free time.
I won't give it one star because it might improve but that's noteworthy in a negative way. The adult game market is saturated right now and this is not off to a good start.

Well, that was one of the worst experiences I had playing games. First of all, this is a soap opera, two lines of dialogue streched to fill hours of pointless clicking, just to get to the good parts. Only there are no good parts, just a gigantic dick that made me click furiously just to get away from a stupid masturbation scene and then an uncomfortable sex scene with what I can only describe as an underage Thai hooker exploited by a rapey guy.

I wish I could say something about the story but after a point I just skipped all the dialogue (the uhhs and ohhs) and just waited for this to end.

As for the renders... Mom has Jason Momoa's back and calfs, the underage Thai hooker looks 9 and the pervy little brother looks pervy. (Actually I don't know if he is pervy, I skipped all his dialogues buthe looks creepy as hell).

Anyway, 1 star because there is no option for 0 stars....
