Hmm, I'll try that.

I was sure all the streams and vods I'd seen of this game, she stepped out a portal by stone near the fisherman after the tutorial was complete and introduced herself and gave the breeding quest.

Edit. found the tower and Isabell
It sounds like what you were watching were videos of the Demo version of the game. I have played the demo in the past and that was how Isabel was introduced.

Were there any old/ruined buildings in the same area as the fisherman and the portal for Isabel? If there were that is a very good indication that you were watching someone playing the demo version.

The demo version is a very crippled version of the full/Patreon version of the game that you can download here. The map was very small, there was one tiny camp with Wildlings, there was a dragon but you could not interact with it in any way, and I think there was only 1 dungeon.

Is it possible that this game will have proper char editor someday so you can finally make someone who is not fugly abomination? With UE its sure possible. Not to mention model structure is bad... like really bad. Sorry I thought after many versions and rework it will at least better, but no, same char editor. Heck I guess you cannot even remove freckles. I feel like I'm playing some AAA game from activists of agenda where women are allowed to look pretty. Its just... eh. No offense but eh...
Not sure I follow. You started a new game and didn't use the character creator? If so then you should go back in and make a preset. When you hit "New Game" it opens up the character creator and you can see the tabs for different categories, i.e. body, head, tattoos, etc. There are tons of sliders for most of the body features. Some players actually complain there are too many options.

When you are done make sure and save it as a preset. Then back out and load your save unless you really do want to start a new game. Once you are in the game go to the cheat menu and load your preset from there. I recommend saving presets as new ones instead of overwriting the old ones. You can always delete them later if you don't want them cluttering up your list. You can also visit the discord server and there is a channel for people to share their presets. That's not my thing, but some like to play with other peoples' ideas.

Nah don't mind me, I was just unable to create another 2B, Tifa Lockhart, Ada Wong, or any other master copies of ideal women and got reallike-ish female character. Just editor won't allow me to do so, just limitations. Maybe for better, lel.

No idea if its possible, but there are a few people in discord that take requests at trying to create presets of specific characters. Some people are pretty good at it and like to do it. Worth a shot. Discord link in the OP.

Anyone having trouble placing a new Preservation Box on a stone floor near a stone wall? seems to embed in floor or wall, not sit on the floor near the wall. If so, know of a fix? TIA.
seems to be a foundation issue just like if you start the game up from inside your structure you sometimes have to use the unstuck to get them back on the floor to be able to move ....

Where oh where can I get a slave collar in the latest build?

Some people say there are humans to free down in (unspecified) dungeons...the only 'dungeon' I've discovered so far is the one on island with the drakes...and that appears to be endgame based on the amount of bullshit down there. I cleared the 'foyer' and thought I was done...NOPE not even close. I even did a suicide run down into each and every branch to the end just to see what I stood to gain from clearing all that...no humans spotted. I've found and cleared the overworld caves I've come upon...nothing but silk and iron down there.

Still others claim that certain NPCs can be wooed in (unspecified) towns. Is this a dialog option? Is this simply the masturbate 'entice' option? I've tried both in Greycott(Mira), Sanctuary(the 2 females down there), and Wildling village(anybody and everybody)...no dice.

What the fuck am I doing wrong? I'm level 32 rambling around with steel gear and feel like I should have been able to age up offspring like 20 levels ago.

its a lot easier to understand ... once you finish the old mans quests make a pick axe at the table
... there is copper in the valley at the first hill , you can mine and gather coal and make a furnace to smelt the ore into bronze the bronze you make nails from there you can make a cooking pot using the building plan ....

you can build a house and all kinds of stuff with the building plan

once you have your house and furnace etc ....gather more copper ore go to the village and sell it for cash to the black smith you can then buy iron ore and brimstone from him take it back to your furnace and make steel use the steel to make a sword the iron makes a axe and pick axe that are more durable than the stone ones

or if you dont want to waste time you can use the cheat menu / on the num pad and just find the stuff there

quests the fisherman .....the mayor in the village .....talk to Jacob at his farm get him to tell you about his sisters threaten to expose him he will give you the horse horn to call the horse you can ride .....the tower talk to isabelle the sorceress and do her quests ... note when you get knocked up by the were beasts and are ready to give birth do not give birth outside of the tower be inside the tower when you give birth.....
Candy1970 Can you update this "guide" you sent here with the new contents?

You were right in the "Endgame-Dungeon". One branch is a prison, there i found 3 slaves. By freeing them (talk) i got the collars in my inventory.
By using that overpowered 2h-Sword (chest on a really small island somewhere southwest, guarded by 1 Drakeman) it was quite easy.

Edit: Chest needs a special key ... yes, i had one but didn't notice it was for this chest. Think it was "Rusty key, smells like ocean". No idea where i had it from. I think from the dungeon east from starting location.

I'd say you're simply not really exploring very much. There are 5 dungeons that have slaves in them. There is also the Iron Creed fort that has 3 slaves which you obviously haven't found yet which is not hidden at all and fairly close to Graycott. Have you talked to the Stranger yet? He pops up many places on the map. Or Isabell? Look for her tower and check around the base of it. You found one weapon guarded by a drake which is good. That one takes a special key. There are two others found similarly which also takes special keys.

Then there are some new additions only very recently added. Two locations to start a treasure hunt, both of which can be discovered in ruins and very easily seen at night.

If you really don't want to explore to find all these things then someone will tell you where they are, but I would think that in a game like this that doesn't have a story and really only focuses on survival and exploration it would not be wise to easily eliminate half of that just to get it over with. Its supposed to be part of the enjoyment. Again, if you really want to know then someone will tell you where everything is located, but I strongly suggest you give it a go on your own first. At least discover all locations on the map before you give up.

Several of the dungeons
This pre-December build map of dungeons remains accurate:
Stormhammer and Pinemountain as I recall both have girls to free. (there is also the castle of the ironcreed but it's been buggy in the past, I haven't tried in this December build version)
You seem to have found essentially the Caves which are not dungeons in this game terms. Dungeons all have the castle-type doors.

Grave of the False King has 1 or 2 slaves that you can find. It is on the hill, that is near the starting area where you find the fisherman.
Hollow Tunnels has 2 or 3 slaves that you can find and free. It is located on the far southern end of the map, close to the coast line.
The Iron Creed fortress has 3 or 4 slaves that you can free. The slaves there get a little buggy and they will occasionally be found attacking each other (or you). Just spam E until you can talk to one.
Maiden's Last rest has 2 or 3 slaves that you can find and free.

Mira, at the town of Graycott can be charmed akin to how you tame monsters to be your companion. Masturbate near her or use the Alluring staff to have sex with her, after 3 times she should become your companion/slave.

That dungeon you mentioned actually does have 2 or 3 slaves that you can free. They should be down the left passage (and probably the same down the right hand passage as well). Once you kill all of the monsters in the final room at the end of either passage, there should be prison bars lining the back and side walls of that room and inside those prison cells there will be slaves that you can free.
They are intentionally hidden in the shadows to make them easier to miss.

Here is a screenshot of my map, it should have MOST of the locations for dungeons, ruins, and various other places. There is always the chance that this map does not have everything possible in the game. I don't run around looking for every single thing I can find, just most of everything.

OOOOOO! OOOOO! OOOOOOO!!

Me! Me! Pick me!

Not much to say about it, it's my base. There are many like it, but this one is mine. If you zip up the json file, it should be very tiny, so I just attached my building to the bottom of this post.
HighresScreenshot00001.png

I know, right? I can't complain about it though, the architect was pretty low rent and worked for free.

3 levels and all of the important stuff is on the first level. Crafting stations at the back of the house. Second level is wide open, I set it up as a 'breeding den'. Top level is open and I designed it as an 'observation level' for the breeding pit.
It is pretty much just crap that I throw together as I build up a base, so it started as a 4x4 tile structure (left front corner of the building) with a bed in it and I just kept adding on to it until I felt it was big enough.

NOTE: When someone uses the Load Building from the Cheat Menu, it will place the building in the exact same location that it was originally constructed. So, verify where the building was created and make sure you don't have anything built in that same location.
So, here is a screenshot of where I built this base at:
build location.png

Have fun and don't bitch about it if you hate the design or decor.

Thank you for the replies. For the record, I do quite enjoy the game I've been playing. It's just frustrating not quite knowing whether I'm making any progress and why or why not. Of the town NPCs that I've discovered, I've taken all of the available missions to their conclusion and I'm in a weird spot progression wise. I've got an awesome base, a tiny invulnerable but often buggy steed, some ok gear, and some trinkets and masks that would indicate there's more to the puzzle here. Clearly the game was built around deeper mechanics and I just happened NOT to have discovered what I was supoposed to at this point to tap into all of that.

Love the game, but it really needs a main quest to keep players oriented and searching in the right places. And...to be fair, it DOES have a loose main quest, but it refuses to tell the player about it. You're left to maaaaaybe stumble upon the core gameplay progression items. I may be uniquely retarded, unlucky, and/or blind in this instance, but I am, at minimum, proof that it's possible to entirely miss these dungeons when all of the lesser challenges and sidequests are landmarked and obvious. At the very least, it's a strange inversion of visual priority. A simple journal entry that's always there from the beginning of the game to end is all I need to let me know that I'm moving forward. Man does not live on sidequests and random chance alone...

Speaking of dungeons, which dungeon is probably the "easiest" one? A starter dungeon, if you will, to see if you can handle it, or which you can flee easily enough if you get overwhelmed. I was massacring the werewolves and the like in the ruins around the Grave of the False King and thought "Okay, maybe I'm ready for a dungeon." Went inside the GotFK, and broke my (fresh) sword on the first enemy I encountered, and couldn't get back out of the dungeon (or get enough space to go and repair my sword) before I was surrounded by five guys constantly knocking me down and not letting me out of combat long enough to leave the dungeon.

Candy1970 Can you update this "guide" you sent here with the new contents?
OK, to update the guide...

IF you are lost of what to do check here ......otherwise skip this post

after you do the old fisherman's quests of learning how to make clothes, a spear, bread , etc ....
you need to think of it as a basic survival game as it you need food and shelter you can start building your house chop wood gather stones etc enough to get the building materials you need for a solid structure ....note while building if it gets dark you can sleep undisturbed in the fisher mans hut i suggest doing this before the clock hits 20:00 or you will get monster spawns that you have to fight and to start off with you are too weak

(THIS IS WHERE i bring up the Cheats if you want to avoid the grind the / key will bring up the cheat menu if you want to use it ....its up to you )

For the non cheaters please continue to read ........

(build an ax and a pick axe at the crafting table the recipes for both are there the break quickly but you can make them again and throw away the broken ones )

so build during the day sleep during the night this will advance time
the next thing :
build your furnace , they have changed look of it some what from the old game but it still functions the same you now need tin to make bronze you will find tin and charcoal on the closest big hill you see (beware of the werewolves and the big bear and the were bear that roam up there .... they will kill you or screw you depending on your settings ( except for the bear he just kills you no matter what because he is an asshole )

in the next valley over there is one SATYR over to kill after you do look around and you will find copper deposits scattered in that valley mine it (use it with the furnace to make bronze ingots ) copper + tin = bronze

with the bronze ingots in hand go to the crafting and make 10 bronze nails (each ingot makes 5 ... open your building plan and make your cooking pot you can also make storage chests which you find come in very handy to have i usually start with 3 one by the furnace one close to the work bench and one near the cooking pot

(note Even food items in these storage boxes will decay over time and that is OK we will use that waste later )

Ah before i forget some items i failed to mention the SETTINGS right after you start in the world or any time there after you can hit the escape key and check your settings make sure the time clock is enabled , enable defeat sex if you want to can enable pregnancy cum inflation and so on there are other settings there make sure they all fit with what you want
you can also adjust your chance for pregnancy and how long it takes to pop out a kid etc .........Defeat sex is a must pregnancy is optional for just starting out

(note if the same monster fucks you 3 times you can make him your companion he he will give you a token to summon him and will fight along side you in battles until he dies leveling up with each kill you can heal him when he gets damaged by fucking him back to full health ) more on this later ......

now the fisherman told you of a village to find it easily the first time go to the fishermans shack on the side of the way point marker just after dark you will see several columns of smoke over the mountain ridge and a brightness from the area look for the tall tower (thats isabella's tower we will see her later )

THE VILLAGE

go and sleep and the next morning you want to head for that area where you saw the smoke the night before beware there are human soldiers and a few bears on top of the mountain ridge they all want you dead so best avoid them if you can for now

remember we are looking for a village not the first abandoned structure you see or the castle avoid all that head down the valley and into the actual village you will find several friendly npcs .......the black smith the baker lady the mayor ( kind of a jerk ) if you go past all them and past the old church you will find jacobs farm ....and a young boy named jacob talk to him until you find out he secret about the sisters .....then threaten to tell the town in exchange for your silence he will give you the horn you can use to call his horse ....you now have fast transportation

you can call the horse with the horn ride the horse (mount with E) using W A S D keys you can make the horse go hold shift plus and of these directional keys (except s which it stop or back up ) and he gallops etc
takes some practice but you will get the hang of it quick

anyway things to note in the village jacob's farm is full of wheat Jacob also sells seeds for food and flowers

the Blacksmith will sell you iron ore and brimstone (you will need these items to make steel weapons) , and the baker lady has stuff you sell too different foods that give different boosts etc

The mayor ...has a quest to kill wereboars for him if you follow the story line you will see its a setup since you wont fuck him he hopes you fail and get fucked by them .......anyway return to him after it notes you killed enough and he pays you...
(i would not attempt this until you have adequate weapons and armor )

you need to sell items for coins to trade for other items etc or you can use the cheats / to make coins to use )

After you have done all the trading you want to do you can ride the horse back to your house with your loot and craft what you want to craft etc

NOW remember all that food waste you can make a garden plot and grow your own food flowers and plants now using seeds and waste just follow the instructions for the planter box as long as there is enough waste and seeds the box will grow items over time .....

( So by now you should have a HOUSE .... understand how to use the building plan .....and the crafting tables etc you have the farm plots making food or fibers for cloth etc ...... you have weapons armor etc you are well on your way )

OTHER THINGS :

(ITS TIME TO TALK ABOUT NIGHT SPAWNS ) if you stay out past 20:00 at night you will get a notice that the creatures of the night are coming you get this right as the spawn drops be ready to fight because they come on very fast and there are random monsters in each wave usually 3 waves per night starting around 20:00 until 6 am or 06:00

ISABELLA's tower around the tower you will find a portal you can enter to do her quests Here you will want pregnancy on and adjust your setting accordingly NOTE when you give birth you want to do it INSIDE THE TOWER not outside or the baby making quest will fail....

EXPLORING : i cant tell you everything you will find in the game as there is just too much but i will give you some basics

Caves :::: usually guarded by a Minotaur hold vampires and spiders inside the caves you can gather the webs to make silk and mine the rock piles inside ( note you better be high level before attempting this because the monsters play for keeps and you dont want to die in the caves or you may lose all your shit I recommend saving before attempting this part as retrieving your spawn box is hell )

the DESERT ::: here you find sand to make glass , brimstone , you can chop cactus for recipes etc creatures to note WASPS and SCORPIONS

beyond the desert on the ocean side you will find a land bridge that takes you to the dragon island THERE THEY BE DRAGONS duh ......you will also find various towers scattered around filled with dragons defeat the dragons at the top of the tower find a chest of goodies (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LOCK PICKS )

big Minotaur statues : you find these scattered across the lands if you click on the statue it releases a monster spawn kill the spawn to get a locked chest full of goodies (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LOCK PICKS )

round stone structures like mini mazes find the path through to the center kill the minotaurs inside and get a chest of goodies (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LOCK PICKS )

NOW TO SPAWN COMPANIONS to do this you need to have freed slaves and gathered their collars you need you build a milking station and a nursery from your build menu where you get to this point i recommend going to settings turning pregnancy on and to maximum because at this point you are a BABY MAKING MOMMA and the faster you can crank them out the better ....use the slave collars and breast milk to raise up the infants you carry and get their token
you can active the token to bring the monster to life you can breed with that monster to make more monsters and continue the process to build an Army .... i recommend an incestuous relationship with each monster you spawn to build your army faster .....name them if you wish .... to train them take them to the area were they can fight other monsters and gain experience they will level up the more they fight start with simple battles like the were wolves in the village etc ....
dont take them into the night spawns yet unless you want to lose them quickly ......

Healing monsters you can either de spawn them or you can fuck them back to full health BUT once they die they die and the token for them is lost so be sure to pick an option to heal them before they die

AND THERE YOU GO by all means not a full guide ..but enough to get you going and maybe answer some questions you have along the way ....if you still need help just ask here some one will help it might even be me.... LOL

NOTE i did not develop the game but I am a player and supporter of it. I may not have all the answers you seek

I learned a lot from both Captain Bipto and WIMS.

Raw darkness is the creator an excellent developer that has put a lot into this game and dealt with a lot of crap when things don't work right ...AND he always does his best to fix them ... the game has been in development a long time and keeps getting better ....if you find bugs report them on the discord ....you you like the game, please consider Buying it on steam, you get regular updates and news ....
the game is patched regularly and with steam it updates easily so no lengthy download times .. its a small price to pay to get such content.

Try just the towers or the mino mazes and statues etc... first if you can get through those the first dungeon in the start area on top of the hill above the fishermans house would be a good test subject a few were bears a wereboar a nightmare and a Satyr there are a bunch of barrels and just and its a short one like 4 rooms ...next there are the castles with the human soldiers you can kill them and free the slaves there if you can get through those areas with out dying you can move on to the bigger and badder dungeons like the one on dragon island etc .........Good luck
