I found something odd that might explain why people are losing their saves luckily i always save every level or i would have been pissed when you build your house do not build a bed if you did delete it , Let me explain why I came across an odd bug after putting in the bed i hit one more level and saved it to take a break when i came back the buildings i made were there but not only was my avatar the default all the chests i built to store items were gone , and all my inventory was empty no weapons no armor and though it was lvl 40 when i left i was back to level 1 with nothing , but my buildings i built were still there and the pet wolf i found was still where i left him but my furnaces was gone and all ore iron bronze and steel and black steel was gone
...long story short i went back a level reloaded that save before i placed the bed and had everything back ......so to test i set the bed again saved it and same thing happened ......so for me it is something about the bed that causes the issue ......
..now to other notes : 1. even though you kill the vamp to get the dark ore in the cave they still seem to bite you after death ..If you are standing on their bodies ..no big deal you move and they quit hurting you ...but word to the wise move off the dead bodies ASAP or they will hurt you ..2 I had a night spawn of nightmares and reapers there are usually 2 to 3 nightmares and at least two reapers but in this spawn i one saw one reaper later for some reason that day i looked up in the sky and the reaper had spawned at the top of the tree ..
.So, i thought chop the tree down kill the reaper, But i chopped the tree and he was then sky walking ....i had to take my bow and go up the hill and fire arrows at him in the air after about 20 or 30 arrows he finally died and dropped out of the sky to the ground with a thud. 3. the meat pies and the sandwiches seemed to have switched properties as far as which gives you more health the sandwich is giving 200 hp and the meat pie is giving 300 even though the descriptions are the opposite ...........and a FYI the dark ore caves will sometimes bug out if you start down the stairs and it is so dark you cant see a thing do not continue down if you do you will (A fall into an abyss and drown or ( b get stuck and you can't get out
either way i have found if you go back out save and reload it usually fixes the problem and things go normally

So, how does this work?
Sex only after being defeated? The Description says something about upgrading and unlocking creatures to bang at will?
How's that gonna work? How does one get to that part?
Even with this mess of a fighting-system, i just refuse to lose on purpose.

The game runs for me, but doesn't seem to have a way to activate sex scenes? defeat sex doesn't seem to work, and not seeing any other options for it. When the character goes down, the enemy just attacks again and kills them outright.

if you have the grit points go to the monster you want to mate with and hit the Y key near then you will start masturbating and the monster will come fuck you without a fight , they will impregnate you later you give birth you take the baby to the research station you built and convert them to a summons . you take the summons put it in your items area of hotkeys use the hot key and create the monster you now have a follower you can talk to him have sex with him tell him to walk with you etc... Defeat sex that impregnates you has the same result if the summons is available for that type of monster
the monster summons are supposed to be able to join your fights in battle though i don't think this is implemented yet ....but you can still create an army of monster suitors

in game hit the escape key go to settings make sure defeat sex is checked by default it is not, look though the options carefully as there may be other thing you want to check for instance you can speed up the time till birth. set the cum inflation rate etc..
not monster will only mate with you if you have the appropriate level of grit or better if you dont and you lose the fight they just kill you, you re-spawn and try again.
Note when you die you will re-spawn on the beach where the game started you have to find where you died and go back to that point, there is a beam of light that shoots up off that point to guide you to your body, until you recover the box there you will have nothing to fight with, and sometimes monster will hang around your box waiting for your return you may have to lure them away before you can recover your items.

Ffs. I've been trying to play the most recent version and presets made on the current version do not work. The presets I made last version work fine though. It's like every update one thing gets fixed and 2 more things break.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The game seems to play okay now, except the part where quests still do not work properly at all, so for the most part the game still pretty much only revolves around mining rare ore so that you can make black steel weapons and kill everything.
One thing that comes to my mind is that you need to enable the world clock in the settings. Go into your settings and even if the clock option is checked, uncheck it and then click it again, hit the apply button and exit from the settings. You might want to save, exit to the menu and then load your game again.
The clock/time in the game can get rather buggy at times.
If you search back through the posts here, there was a map posted a time or two that has some locations for things listed on it.
From memory, I know there is a cave in the desert area of the map that has dark iron ore. So, if you are facing out from the starting beach area, that cave will be a ways off on the right hand side.
Prepare yourself though, the cave is guarded by vampires and they are not that easy to beat if you don't have steel gear and weapons.

Couldn't find such setting, only thing close to this one is "Show in-game time".
And the time is stuck at 00:00

if its stuck save and reload and retry the settings it will start working again if you keep playing at 00:00 it will be night forever i found this out the hard way
My apologies, you are correct on that, the item I was thinking about is the Show in-game time. I have no idea where I got that world time thing, it is just what I called the in-game clock.
If you enable that show time, it should at least give you an indication of what is going on, whether the time is just advancing slowly or just not advancing at all.
The only other thing I can think of is to check the time dilation in the cheat menu. If you press the / key on the number pad, it will bring up the cheat menu and one of the items should be time dilation. If you click the X on the right side of the slider it should reset it to default. You might want to try moving that slider to one side or the other, close the menu, then open the cheat menu again and click the X to reset it and close the menu again.
As Candy1970 said, save and restart the game, it may fix the time issue.

Kind of annoying that load preset doesn't work. Is it the same situation for anybody else?
Gameplay wise, the open world nature of the game and the brutality of the mobs make it hard to know where progress can be made. I finished the Fisherman's quest chain and then roamed around the island but almost everything kills me in 1 hit. Are there any guides/walkthroughs on getting additional quests?

my small brain doesn't understand what's going on most of the time and cuz english is my 3rd language I'm not that fast to read everything so sometimes text just disappears before I finish reading everything.
Also I started the werebeast legacy quest but I don't even know how to actually get to breed with anything really

There really isn't a guide or walkthrough, but I can offer some of my random thoughts that hopefully will help some.
Personally, I would not worry too much about quests right now. They don't really give you anything special and they can bug out and just not work right now.
Edit: Skills have changed, in version 0.8.5.2, and you no longer gain points to put into skills. Skills are static and you level up those skills by 'doing things', such as mining ores or harvesting resources and each level of a skill adds a small bonus to your character.
My main recommendation is that you Grind, Grind, Grind, grind some more, and avoid fighting anything. Your character sucks when you start out and you don't really start feeling powerful/useful until you can get to steel gear.
Everything you can craft and everything you can harvest, will give you experience, so gathering stuff and making things isn't a total waste.
After you finish the fisherman's quest, try building a home for yourself. Do not build anything in or next to the fisherman hut, things will fall through the map and disappear. There is a flat area near that hut that people have built homes on and an area just down the hill, near the beach/desert area that works as well.
Try making a cauldron as soon as you can, the meat pie and meat sandwich give some very good buffs to HP and stamina. There is wheat that you can harvest right near the trees in the starting area. It looks similar to the grass, just a lighter color, you need it to make the pies or sandwiches.
Until you can make a cauldron, make grilled feral meat in the camp fire, it gives a decent HP buff to help you survive fights.
Crafting Bronze weapons and armor is nice, but don't let it fool you, it kinda sucks for combat, but it is better than nothing. The bronze tools are not that bad, though.
To craft armor, you need leather, which will drop from most monsters and occasionally from deer or boars, but starting out stick to just fighting werewolves and maybe bears.
I would recommend that you skip on making iron gear, it has the same stats as steel gear and if you can make iron, you should be able to make steel. I would, also, recommend skipping on Royal gear and just make Legendary gear (when you get to that point), they need the exact same resources and legendary gear has better stats.
Edit: With the new skill system, there is actually a use for Light (aka bronze) Armor.
The Light armor skill adds <evasion or Crit chance>, I can't remember which one offhand, which is a nice boost for combat. If you equip a piece of bronze armor in the arm or leg slot, along with your steel/legendary armor, you can gain experience for the light armor skill and not sacrifice much in the way of defenses.
The map I have attached, shows locations for where you can find things like iron and copper to make gear. You can find charcoal, for the forge, around the stone pillars scattered around the map. If you see bears around a stone pile, there is a very good chance you can find charcoal. Bears aren't that aggressive, so steer clear of them and you can usually sneak in and mine some charcoal and get out.
To have sex with monsters and NOT DIE, you need Grit points. The amount of Grit points you have are shown as small hearts above your health bar. All monsters have a 'Grit rating' that is equal to the number of skulls that they have. So, 1 skull, needs 1 grit point, 3 skulls needs 3 grit points, and so on.
You can stand around and let a monster beat you until you are at -100 HP and they will then start sex with your character, be warned though that having sex that way will reduce your Grit points, so you can easily die if something tries having sex with you again.
Your grit points will regenerate at about 1 point for every 10 minutes or so that pass.
Another way to have sex is to move close to the monster and then press the Y key, to start masturbating. The monster will move towards your character and start a sex scene. You still need Grit points for sex, but you don't lose any Grit points this way, so you can start masturbating again and entice them again or entice another monster and you won't die from having sex.

Not gonna lie the game is good, definitely better than when i player it first. But yeah, i had to restart like 4 times so..
Hope this game happens and doesn't get abandoned.
