Not necessarily, as long as the stuff is completely and easily avoidable, ofc. Not a fan of the kink either, but if the dev wants it for whatever reasons other than a pointless headache, he should do what he think it's best for his game, and before judging the quality of other ppl's advice, you should know that most players ain't soo emotional about some pixelated sluts cheating on their MC and will just keep playing the game avoiding the NTR route or the cheating female character or will simply delete it and play other games. It's what I usually do, but since the dev already said this type of fetish won't be in the game, it's pointless and offtopic to keep discussing what ifs.

did have it downloaded and ready to play because of the harem tag. But not into games showing the ladies with someone other than the mc. Even if they are in a relationship with someone else and the mc is using netori to steal them. There was no need to cuck the mc/player with that scene even if she is with someone else, it can be know to the player she is with someone else for now, but I don't want to see it or have it thrown in my face.
