The MC bothered me a lot through Chapter 1 as well, so much so that I was glad the dev addressed it before starting the game proper. But as the story goes on and he reflects on his actions, his "frustrating" actions all start to make a lot more sense. Would the team recruitment have gone easier without his attitude? Probably. But that isn't the story the dev is here to tell, and I respect that. What we did get is powerful and moving in its own way.

Future plot hypothesis: Does anyone else feel like Mr. Harrison (current basketball coach) could be the old volleyball coach? He tried pretty hard to covince the MC not to become the new coach and as well he seemed to know alot of details about the fiona situation. There was also the scene where MC couldn't even tell that Harrison was the same person as the picture of his younger self; younger harrison was an attractive guy but current Harrison's face is borderline grotesque and weird looking. Call me crazy but I think Fiona and her gang beat Harrison so bad that he had to get plastic surgery and now he's unrecognizable to the people who knew him as the old volley ball coach. Also neither Fiona or the Dean have actually made clear what happened to the old coach.

No, I think it just for comedy effect.

Lowkey started the game ages ago and forgot about the dev warning when I started playing it again lol, It certainly improved as It went on which I already said I was going to keep playing so just irrelevant.

Fair point on the first part, Started a save just past the basic introductions way back in V2 and finally got around to playing as V3 and totally forgot the dev warning so thats on me, I'd definitely have been more restrained If Id remembered that.

The Porn was the least of my concerns in any of my comments It was the attitude and personality of the MC, contrary to popular belief not everyone on this site has a raging pornography addiction. To add to it theres also a difference between being an asshole and being socially inept which mc is lol.
I don't have a body pillow to hug you'll have to tell me how that feels sometime.

However the characters certainly progress past chapter 1 so Dev is definitely right about just giving him a chance, still not really a fan of the constant give up options or it being the sole pick in the screenshot from earlier, but at least Its funny

His reflection and development is nice to see, going from being unbearable with anyone playing or teasing him to having a back and forth banter and a good laugh about it. Definitely wouldnt have commented on it so soon if I had recalled that though.

Not long after the 0.2 update released the dev posted that they figured out a way to improve the quality of their renders, so 0.3 is the first update to show these off. Probably why some of Saki's scenes may appear lower quality. Just a consequence of the dev improving their skills mid development.

I had the exact same issue with it on my first playthrough. I felt a lot better about it rerunning the game for the second time, but to me that beginning segment of the game is still rather hamfisted. I get why it's a sticking point for a lot of people.

If you read the intro you would have known it was intentional, to show his change as you progress through the game.

Finished chapter 2, the more i play the more i like, the LI are very interesting and very differents, they're all well characterized, you really care for each of her, all pref aside. We have a good mc also, again prooves the importance of the writing. So far even if the A of avn is not very present, the few lewds or flirt i had did the job even if ofc i cant wait to have some concrete action with some of these cuties. Conclusion solid game , the story and charas are top notch, the all flows very well and you'll fall for these girls for sure. A project worth funding if you can no doubt about it, all the best for you Lopaphi.
