I go to sleep and wake up to poetry and dissertation papers directed at one dude....i love this community
Actually, I think the problem is that nowadays there are people who have never opened a book and would never do it even if they got a life sentence in a library. They don't see visual novels in the context of actual novels, because they have no idea what novels are like. They think they have the absolute right to 100% identify with the protagonist and see every negative trait of the protagonist as a personal attack on themselves. The tendency towards this is very widespread among AVN consumers and is why nowadays every AVN needs an option to change the protagonist's name. This is just the extreme form of this tendency. This this and this. Some people are very impatient when absorbing from any medium form, being a book, movie, show, music etc etc. They expect everything to be "perfect" and pristine from the beginning and they don't tolerate flaws or "irredeemable qualities" even in fiction.
Fortunately I see signs that this paradigm is shifting for more tolerance and most importantly acceptance to flaws and imperfectness and raw emotions, in literature but specially in music/lyrics where for many years/decade(s) what was sold by (mainstream) labels are pristine rubbish music and lately I've been finding very good artists again that barely appeared on mainstream during almost 2 decades.
Welcome back to the new 90s lmao.
Edit: edited to add the concept of acceptance since in my humble opinion just tolerance isn't enough to get things better in my view.
This so much, I also hate people that say thing is bad because they don't like thing, it's a very immature atitude to have. Something can be awful to my tastes and I still can see quality on it or one can love shallow stuff but don't have to pretend it's the best thing written ever.Actually, I think the problem is that nowadays there are people who have never opened a book and would never do it even if they got a life sentence in a library. So, you're saying that Lopa is based? #GodblessLopaI think I read somewhere in Discord or on his Patreon that the dev didn't have much exposure to AVNs in general before starting this project and was more used to reading books and Japanese VNs, which might explain why the plot and direction in WC is a lot different from other titles the AVN fans/audience are normally used or exposed to.
Merry Christmas to you too! Damn, i feel like a stalker....Merry Christmas Wild Cats fans!

It feels illegal to see the most wholesome character naked like this.Merry Christmas Wild Cats fans!

Yeah, I have some conflicted feelings about the fact that we've seen her naked before it's happened in the game. I understand that it's Christmas and presents are bound to come, but I guess that a part of me wished that it hadn't been unveiled until the story allowed it. Then again, you know what they say, never look a gift horse in the mouth, and of course it doesn't change the fact that I'll love when the moment in-game comes regardless. Also, needless to say, she's gorgeous and breathtaking. It feels illegal to see the most wholesome character naked like this.
But eventually we will in-game, and I'm here for it.
Merry Christmas
I really HATE it (maybe to an unreasonable/irrational degree), i already hate lewd "dreams" in avns which show LI's entirely naked before we ever saw them "for real" in the avn.Yeah, I have some conflicted feelings about the fact that we've seen her naked before it's happened in the game. I get it, and i understand...but....TITTIES!I really HATE it (maybe to an unreasonable/irrational degree), i already hate lewd "dreams" in avns which show LI's entirely naked before we ever saw them "for real" in the avn.
Showing them in lewd situations or even just naked before it ever happened in the avn is a huge fatal flaw for me, devs should hold back on that.
Doesnt changes anything about this being one of the most promising avns here but it still annoys me.
We need to erase it from our minds, the world isn't ready for them.I get it, and i understand...but....TITTIES!![]()
It's worth considering the fact that these bonus renders aren't meant to be part of the game; they're supplementary for people who want more in between updates. I'm with you in liking a good slow burn and, if you consider it as such, being spoiler-averse, but this kind of non-canon material should be held to a different standard from things being rushed in-game. You (usually) have to go out of your way to see this extra stuff, so it feels unfair to treat it as if it's jumping ahead of the story.I really HATE it (maybe to an unreasonable/irrational degree), i already hate lewd "dreams" in avns which show LI's entirely naked before we ever saw them "for real" in the avn.
